Sharing my OpenClaw X automation results for today. I set up OpenClaw to scan one of my X Lists for micro SaaS opportunities. OpenClaw runs a cron job every 4 hours to scan all posts, save the results in Supabase, and send Telegram alerts for high-scoring ones.

@levelsio I started using Claude for planing with spec-kit and do the actual coding with GLM-5.

Claude Code with Opus 4.6 was so dumb today I finally had to write my own code again A sad state of affairs 🥹

Open claw is still overrated. Here's my hot take: Everyone asks around how do you use it - why? Cause no one has a use case they find invaluable besides making dashboards or trying to arbitrage Polymarket. Maintenance - I spend 80% of my time just keeping it online, remembering or fixing things. It forgets time and time again. Also sucks up all computer resources regularly. All the posts about SEO optimization, how they have 15 AI employees, etc. Are from people not making money. Token costs > Executive Assistant cost ($50 / hour). Turns out using better models and running tasks around the clock costs money. And trying to debug or explain things takes way longer than sending to my assistant (for now). It hurt my X account. When I had it run my X and then check my X for stats - I got throttled since it looks like a bot (cause it IS a bot!) - didnt realize it for a week. Every-single-person who's bragging about OpenClaw is mostly lying. When you ask them how it's really going it isn't as they seem. Is it awesome and hugely potential, yes. Still someways to go...

Couldn’t agree more. One week after OpenClaw was released everyone already had a team of 10+ agents running his company. now we see most of this was just grabbing for attention and riding the hype wave I‘m still trying to fix a lot of those points too and I‘m highly technical. E.g. making sure the agents stay in the work loop. But I‘m getting there

@SoraiaDev yeah i've been stuck in this for almost 2 months now, like i noticed something was off when i was drinking coffee and still feeling sleepy and weak. that disconnect between trying to do the thing and your body just not cooperating is exhausting

Today I can't focus on anything. Not coding, not posting, not even prompting. Just an uncomfortable feeling that won't go away. Anyone else ever feel like this sometimes?

We are rolling out more detection for automation & spam (and a lot more to come). If a human is not tapping on the screen, the account and all associated accounts will likely be suspended—even if you’re just experimenting. While we aim to support legitimate use-cases of agents, this will take some time to do properly. For now, we recommend holding off on plugging in your bots. If it’s critical, you can use the official API.

2003: WordPress will replace web developers. 2017: Low-code will replace developers. 2025: AI agents will replace developers. Reality: Developers using modern tools will replace the people who keep saying this.
