@cfceqr I heard kulmiye was allocating more funds to education which is why it was supported by university students. Most ppl likely support based on sub clan though. But with both parties, neither can do proper resource allocation, they’ve all got tunnel vision.

They were enforcing border safety. Not sure you understand how functioning nations work since you’re from Somalia, but if a group of people within your borders are causing national security issues at said borders by bringing in terrorism, you don’t just ignore it. Not the governments fault that they’re violent people, I mean, they even started coming crimes en masse after SL left that shithole.

@amisinput @SultanateJawah Was your government not enforcing its ideology when it committed a massacre against Laascaanood for being pro union? The hypocrisy is crazy considering you enforce your will on others but denounce when it happens to you.

This breaks my heart. The Somaliland government has now upped their brainwashing campaign. Instead of telling the new generation to embrace Somali unity, they teach them to reject. All lines have been crossed! It’s time for the FGS to intervene.

Sooo because you think it’s good, you expect us to also share the same opinion? We aren’t forcing an ideology on you, you lot are. Isn’t that indoctrination? “Modern states were all formed on unity” is a blatant lie, many ethnicities live across multiple nations. And our internal affairs/how we handle our country is none of your business, frankly, and certainly not grounds to force a unity. We’ve told you we don’t want it so let’s leave it at that.

@amisinput @SultanateJawah How is it indoctrination for wanting to unite with your ethnic group? Modern states were all formed on this new concept of unity but somalilanders refuse to adjust to the modern era. You had 30 years to do something and your only achievement is being slightly better than Somalia.

Siad Barre’s scorched-earth strategy, notice how Awdal is included? Dir/Isaaq inhabited lands were the primary target but these people want loyalty from Gadabuursi. First, the SNA mined Awdal to fight Ethiopia, treating our people as collateral damage. Then they planted a second wave of explosives with a single purpose to wipe us out entirely. Hundreds of thousands of landmines. Those very mines are still being dug up by the Somaliland government along with the HALO trust (no help from Somalia), and many are still exploding as they haven’t been mapped yet. The only reason certain people act so fond of Gadabuursis now is to exploit us for anti-Somaliland rhetoric which was fed by the revisionist history of their parents. People who genuinely want unity rather than subjugation would never trap civilian lands with explosives and pretend it never happened instead of aiding in removal.

@somalinewsx @SaedMohamu58712 No, we just know you’re Somalified Southern Cushites who beg it off Northern Cushitic groups. Your ancestors migrated south from Egypt, bypassed us, and mixed with southern hunter-gatherers.

What does something from 3500 years ago found in Xiis Sanaag, modern day Somaliland have anything to do with Somalia and the blue flag made like 60 years ago? And they conveniently left out the region of excavation, which the archeologist made clear. This is just dishonest because be it any other region outside the current SL borders, he would have likely mentioned the location.

I’m attributing Siad Barres regime to expansionism, that expansionism is the driving factor behind the unity that the people from Somalia push to this day. Most of you are mentally stunted, which is why you can’t see the clear link between the two, that or you’re just expansionists at heart.

All I’m seeing on my timeline is “Gadabuursi are unreliable”, “Gadabuursi need to fight like Dhulbahante but they are oppressed!”. Basically, all sorts of mental gymnastics to avoid the obvious, which is that we are Somalilanders and that your sambuusa idea was all bs. Imagine they spent all this time saying I’m lying about my clan only to finally see that we actually don’t care for their lalaland unity. They’re also on here praying that we get up in arms and kill Isaaqs. We don’t care about Somalia nor unity, and certainly not to the extent that we would kill our neighbours for it.

@Nmo1073346Nmo They know, they just want to isolate the clans within Somaliland, cause division, and eventually, war and collapse. That’s their ultimate goal. That’s how Somalia works.

@ma5tani I think their parents are behind all of this and we just see it more due to social media/becoming adults. Just a bunch of petty people bought up with an expansionist ideology.

Imagine genocidal Somalian troops deliberately planting landmines near wells, water holes, and the doors of homes. They even buried mines in the exact spots where families had hidden their valuables—after looting those same items. The Somalians used these landmines as weapons of terror to deny civilians access to their homes, villages, farms, and water sources. After the war, victims were overwhelmingly civilians mostly women and children. When no international help came, SNM heroes who had just liberated the occupied Republic of Somaliland cleared the mines by hand‼️ In one team of 60 SNM fighters tasked with clearing landmines, 40 became casualties of landmines themselves‼️ For 35 years, Somaliland has stood firm: Never again. No forced annexation to Somalia — despite pressure from the UN, EU, and world powers. After decades of abandonment, Israel has one the one to come to the rescue. The Republic of Somaliland survives today thanks to thousands of nameless heroes. One day, they will be properly honored.

How merciless must you be to destroy the second largest city in your country to the ground. Nonstop bombardment. They even hired foreign pilots from South Africa to speed up the process. All this while the civilians were still in the city Never again
