In the physical paper-checking era, hardly anyone from schools applied for re-evaluation. Seeking re-evaluation wasn't the norm. Trust was that high. But this year, 25% of the 17 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE Class XII board exams have already applied for scanned copies as the mandatory prerequisite before seeking re-evaluation. This is unprecedented. Now it's the social media era. Even a minor discrepancy travels far and creates doubt in everyone's mind: what if their evaluation wasn't fair either? This 25% reflects that broken trust, and it will likely increase with time as more discrepancies are expected to surface. CBSE tried to solve a problem that didn't exist and ended up creating an even bigger one.

Criticize him for 100 things and give me 100 labels for saying this. But.... what @narendramodi and his team has done with the Padma awards is outstanding. Eyes get moist most times. Such deserving people. I really wish the Government institutes a decent cash award for these people. A good sum not a token amount!

Generally, I have found that people from Odisha are pretty honest/sweet people. And people from Delhi/Punjab are pretty cunning/over-smart/dis-honest. I know someone senior in med device industry and they don’t sell in Punjab state bcz each & every Doctor demands big cash.

"A second evaluator told HT that teachers were under pressure from CBSE to complete checking quickly so that results could be declared on time and the digital rollout could be projected as successful. “Teachers had daily targets. @zeishahamlani There is no report of metro line getting flooded ever. Disruptions due to technical faults have happened in past and can happen in future but that's not same as flooding of elevated metro line as mentioned ur original tweet. Don't put false statements!

I am a CBSE Class 12 student. After receiving unexpectedly low marks in Physics, we applied for photocopies of my answer sheets through the CBSE reevaluation process. Today we received the copies. And I am shattered because the Physics answer sheet uploaded by CBSE is not mine

CBSE has done huge damage to its reputation and to students' faith in it. Traditionally, CBSE was considered one of the most professional examining bodies. There was a time when CBSE conducted AIPMT better than NBE conducts NEET today. What was the need to shift to On-Screen Marking (OSM) so haphazardly? The existing system of physical copy checking was working well, and hardly anyone was complaining. You shifted to OSM without accounting for the fact that the manpower involved in scanning answer sheets can make mistakes. Copies are getting exchanged, pages are missing from scanned answer sheets, correct answers are getting zero marks, and correct MCQ responses are getting 0.5 instead of 1. I know only a handful of students have reported issues so far, but such incidents have shaken students' faith in the examination system. Now every student may feel that they too received lower marks due to errors and expect redressal. All of this was avoidable.

Revert to human correction and complete the re-evaluation with human effort immediately. Patience is running thin. You are adversely affecting future of tens of thousands of our kids. @narendramodi @AmitShah @BJP4India Atleast listen your own post holders.. @cbseindia29 is taking arbitrage decisions without thinking about its impact on students. Additionally books are still not published. Schools have already started in south part of India. #cbse

In April 2026, when the CBSE announced that three languages for Class VI students shall be made compulsory and 2 of the three languages shall be native to India, I was one amongst many who welcomed this decision that allows Children to learn multiple languages from a young age, which would help them to broaden their understanding of India’s diverse literary landscape. In the very same notification released in April 2026, it was explicitly mentioned that the Third language for Class IX children studying in CBSE schools will be made compulsory only from the Academic year 2029-30, which is 3 years from now. However, on 15th May 2026, the CBSE sent a notification to all affiliated schools introducing the third compulsory language for Class IX students from this academic year, rolling back its previous commitment to make it compulsory only from the academic year 2029-30. This has come as a shock to many parents, especially those from TN, as their Children have already selected a language of choice in Class VI, and now the revised notification mandates that Class IX students learn 3 languages, 2 of which are native to India, with effect from 1st July 2026. Expecting a Class IX student to learn a new language in a short time will only pressurise children and affect their overall learning outcomes. I request the Ministry of Education to roll back this notification immediately and to stick to the previous commitment to introduce the learning of 3 languages, of which 2 shall be native Indian languages, for Class IX, from the academic year 2029-30.

UPA govt from 2009-2014 suffered with policy paralysis for 5 years and can’t even come up with 1 good policy, even though they had Manmohan Singh with them. They broke the backbone of PSUs, OMCs and banks, from which it took 10 years to recover. And don’t forget the blunder of Waqf Bill passed to win elections. If Rahul Gandhi could have come up with 5 point resolution, he would have done it long back. He doesn’t have any. Rahul Gandhi is a good stand up comedian being forced to become a politician. He is good at raising points and problems (which any slightly educated Indian can). But when it comes to giving solutions to those problems, he or his ministers don’t have much to offer. Have you ever seen him talking about solutions? (Not socialist solutions, but developmental solutions) The sad truth of India is we vote for the party which raises more questions, not for the one who has the potential to solve more problems. Look at what we did to the Bajpayee government. He was the best India had. BJP right now is suffering a massive global geopolitical headwind, but it will pass. It looks like they are failing on multiple fronts, but Congress could not have done any better in similar circumstances. I am not saying this. History says this. Congress faced a similar situation in 2013, and we all know how bad they screwed up. They were good at hiding the fuel hike under the carpet of oil bonds. The result was that OMCs went under so much revenue and margin pressure, they had to book losses, their cash flows got severely impacted, even employees salaries got hit. Such a long term impact, it pushed back India’s O&G research by at least 10 years. BJP is handling it much better. They are taking short term damage to their reputation, but in order to save it, they are not going to jeopardise the long term ecosystem.

Never saw an anti BJP wave on social media like this in the last 13 years. This is the time @RahulGandhi come up with a strong 5-point resolution on what changes you’ll bring if voted to power, hit the ground, and fight for common people instead of just sticking to Modi and Adani
