Survived the 2010 quake, left behind >2yrs medschool in 2011 to pursue a dream. Learned English in 6mo, completed @Valenciacollege & @USF in 3yrs. Spent 1yr off bc I was broke then got a Ms. degree at @touro. Going to @TuftsAneshesia. Take the shot like your life depends on it

I do healthcare consulting for a living. It is simple math that we cannot reduce healthcare costs in this country without reducing the amounts we pay doctors and hospitals. Dr's cannot make $30k/hour in an affordable system.

This is, btw, why the fantasies of getting US costs down to European levels through the power of single payer will never work. Governments are more vulnerable to this sort of pressure than private companies are, not less. "Call your congresscritter and ask them why they want patients to die!" is a super effective ad.

I created Mini Medical School during the pandemic to empower students to pursue careers in STEM. This program was able to reach over 200 3rd,4th, and 5th grade students at local elementary schools! I am very proud to have been involved and work with such amazing students!

I got a call from my auto-shop saying my truck repairs would cost 2k. I was pissed so when mom called moments later, I complained about being broke. She consoled me...and then told me my brother was dead. It’s crazy how quickly your world can change. I love you brother.
