Happened to me. There’s nothing more annoying than fake fear
Gio Blaze@gioblaze0069

yup… I had a terrifying situation a few weeks ago Reminded me of a quote I heard from the guy who free climbed that massive sky scraper in Taiwan He said “modern men get anxiety because they’re not ever exposed to real fear anymore” Well … I was having a panic attack in a coffee shop with a girl I care about . I left her in the coffee shop, laid under a tree in a park while this panic attack raged on… Suddenly she calls me freaking out , some sketchy black guy sat down in my seat, with my closed laptop in front of him , and asks to use her phone. Suspicious. I start sprinting to her … I walk in , he’s sitting across from her now , I put my hand across her and kiss her cheek then look at him he immediately stands up and walks out of the coffee shop before , angry This is a very ghetto black kid with “dead eyes” - the type who has no empathy. Would commit violent crime , I know his type when I see it - was probably trying to use her phone to send himself money from her Venmo . Couple hours later, around 9 pm , we leave the coffee shop and walk towards the car. This kid walks right past us… He turns around and walk towards us , probs trying to flank us …. I look back … he’s wearing a durag, with 1 hand in his bag , which I’m assuming is a weapon cause that bag wasn’t in the coffee shop My girl starts freaking out, I grab her arm; put her in front of me, make her cross the street extremely fast Now I know if he crosses the street too it’s on. I take my shirt off , turn around, while she’s screaming “it’s him” “it’s him” … and watch him keep walking the other direction , where our car was We looped back 3 extra blocks and around to get to the car safely We drove by that same street just to see where he was and he was lurking behind a bush, waiting Terrifying This was profound to me becusse I had been having massive panic attacks all month but when I was in the face of real fear I acted calmly and made decisions under pressure It made me realize I’m more afraid of fake fear (anxiety) than real fear And that has helped me get over this anxiety When the time came I was like a German shepherd , ready to risk my life to protect her It was sheer instinct, no anxiety . Just action Probably why I love German shepherds so much

Claude Design is probably the best vibe-coding design tool I’ve used so far. Only catch: on the $20 plan, you basically get one successful landing page prompt with zero room for edits. If OpenAI is shipping a ton of subsidized compute straight to your desk, Anthropic is showing you how you’ll be begging for tokens over the next two years.

The blue button vs red button dilemma is really just a blueshift/redshift wave in disguise. The button doesn’t exist outside the consciousness perceiving it. The choice doesn’t exist outside the state it arises from. And the chooser isn’t some separate center either, just an experience arising within the field.

@lBattleRhino stablecoins + agentic finance the only asymmetric opportunity on the horizon, given how DeFi has been disrupted by hacking attacks, whilst RWA TCG assets are trapped in their own micro-bubble

You can’t say people say this every cycle low because I didn’t. You can’t say it’s trending to say this now because of equities outperformance as i have been saying this before we died and ive been a primarily tradfi trader my entire career. You can’t just constantly sentiment counter. Please, substantive arguments for why crypto underperformed and why this will change.

I keep seeing people say man everyone is apathetic we gonna run the bull back so hard time to lock in. Are none of you concerned eth / sol barely eclipsed prev cycle aths, btc clearly demonstrating diminishing returns cycle over cycle with saylor holding inordinate amount, quantum threat, only interesting narratives exist in tradfi etc etc Could go on, same reasons i spoke about when derisking last year. Serious question, does none of this concern you when you’re blindly parroting that the next cycle is gonna make ppl “so fkn rich”. Sure there’s always asymmetric opps that come up to make money on but holding spot majors hasnt felt worthwhile for a long ass time. Curious on thoughts from people still bullish the space going forward

Today was a big deadline. Ofcom sent a bunch of letters to Facebook, Instagram, Roblox, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube on 12 March asking them to "take further action" on kids' safety. Keep in mind, there was no investigation that prompted this. Ofcom just demanded: "do more."

At this rate, in three years only the islands will be left on that list, and even they may struggle once supply chains start breaking. Choosing residency based only on effective tax rate doesn’t work anymore. You also have to price in resource security, geopolitical and environmental risk.

still can’t believe @brian_armstrong gave @cobie $500M for an ICO website that got shut down after just two successful ICOs could’ve given $1M to 500 innovative app builders, even if 100 apps survived it would’ve created an onchain renaissance on @base Cobie ended up buying a giant castle with a single purpose to poorshame CT while he is not even using it and just sits in one basement room in front of a computer. cobie basically handed out most of the funds to some boomer who doesn’t even have anyone to inherit the wealth and you’re asking why crypto is down so bad. this is worse than solana KOL extraction season, at least some of them are giving money back to the market by trading on hyperliquid btw i’m raising for a very innovative onchain game app

Working on a map-based relocation dashboard, and I’m genuinely surprised no one has built this properly yet. Somehow, the deeply inconvenient habit of comparing countries in excel sheets keeps beating all logic.

Honestly, one of the worst things you can do to your mind is tie your identity to a number that represents your net worth. Literally brainrot activity.

@Object_Zero_ Infra doesn’t get rebuilt by the magic of ZIRP. For something new to be built, something old has to be destroyed first. In a deflationary era, debt is deflationary too. War and natural disasters will likely be the main forces that make that reset happen.

Bill Ackman is right… 2005-2020, globalisation and Chinese urbanisation caused 15 years of global deflation and a long era of ZIRP. 2025-2045, AI will likely cause a long period of deflation (big productivity gains) and likely a long era of ZIRP. The West mostly failed to make use of the first ZIRP era, we didn’t understand it. We did not replace and upgrade our infrastructure, we did not roll SovX far into the future. I expect we will not repeat this mistake, during the AI buildout. A huge amount of infrastructure is going to be built over the next 20 years, backed with long dated cheap bonds. This is the monetary and fiscal structure of the era we find ourselves in. You are now leaving the eye of the storm.
Shay Boloor@StockSavvyShay

Bill Ackman says this is a good environment to deploy capital. We’re still in the earliest innings of the AI economy and what may become the largest industrial buildout in human history.

if you have a long enough time horizon, zcash at $5B is ridiculously cheap. I’d go as far as to say it is the most mispriced asset in the world right now

MiniMax M2.7 as the brain for OpenClaw is an absolute banger. You can run research all day while going about your life, and it costs next to nothing on an API basis.
