Truly believe he’s had close to the ‘perfect season’ you could ask for a 22 year old striker.
Joined, had quite a big dry spell, but scored the odd goal & was praised for other aspects of his game.
Then since January once he’d settled in it all started to click for him, but still not under the pressure of having to start every game.
Coming off the bench a lot & still scoring / impacting games in limited minutes.
Now post-March international break he’s starting almost every game & will be ready to do so from the start of next season too.
Massive credit to United for how they’ve handled his development this season, such a big fan of Sesko.

I think what annoys me the most about Benjamin Sesko at Manchester United is that he faced criticism from the likes of Gary Neville in a period where he actually did NOT deserve it.
He was impacting games, scoring goals, linking up well with teammates and good old Gary thought it would be a good idea to ‘stir the pot’ for absolutely no reason.
The media latched on, and it became this common thing to say he was going through a ‘difficult’ start and was ‘struggling’
As a result, it’s got into his head and now he is ACTUALLY struggling.
Maybe you could say he should be mentally strong enough to ignore the critics, but people forget he’s only 22 years-old himself and is going through a lot of change so early in his career.
He’s joined a club where the spotlight is always on you, where any slight mistake is exaggerated and new narratives form off the bounce of it.
My point is, Gary started a pile on that didn’t need to exist, and intentionally or not, has actually affected Sesko’s own game and the general feeling towards him.
A situation that didn’t need to exist has come into fruition, and it just annoys me. Footballers aren’t robots.

Every time a player gets injured, the first thing you hear is people moaning about the schedule being too tough. But no one ever talks about the fact that shin pads are getting smaller and smaller. Look at James Milner, longest Premier League career going, and he’s still wearing proper big shin pads that will actually protect him if he gets smashed.
Then look at the two lads next to him: one’s basically got matchboxes strapped to his legs and the other doesn’t even look like he’s wearing any. It’s just not safe, and sooner or later it’s going to end in nasty injuries. Players should be made to wear proper shin pads or not play at all. The whole thing’s a joke at this stage 👍

Since 09/10 in the Premier League, only 5 players have gotten more assists than Milner. Milner is the only Englishman to play for 5 different English sides in major European competitions: Newcastle, Aston Villa, Man City, Liverpool & Brighton. Milner was sent off by Jon Moss in the Premier League, who is also his former PE teacher. Milner only needs to play 17 more games in the top flight to overtake Gareth Barry for all-time Premier League appearances (currently 653). James Milner has played 1.8% of all top flight games since 1888. They don't make players like him anymore... 👏

Wow if we can get sales for Sancho, Antony, Garna and Malacia then this loan plus buy still is fine. Also please don’t include a clause for barca to give him back just like Chelsea did with Sancho. Make it mandatory from them to buy after the loan.

@amrish_paul, having an obligation to buy doesn't necessarily mean the player contract is finalized. In Jadon Sancho's case, Chelsea has an agreement with Manchester United that includes an obligation to buy him if they finish 14th or higher in the Premier League, but it seems there's still uncertainty about personal terms with Sancho himself. So, @OddsOnFPL's point about Sancho not having agreed on a contract with Chelsea is accurate, which could potentially affect the deal's outcome.

Sancho hasn't agreed a contract with Chelsea. There's a chance he comes back to us in the summer.
