I worked with a Fin Tech company with a UX writer 😍 … it was a little complicated because legal wanted (and needed) to control a lot of the language. We would work hand in hand on the designs to make sure that the language and designs worked together. She also found some great @figma plugins that would help with consistency across multiple mock ups and would flag words that legal said we couldn’t use
