Also, vouchers in Arizona have funded an abortion and a bigscreen TV.

Well no wonder Arizona’s voucher program costs increased from the original 65 million to the current 339 million. Taxpayers gotta pay for those gift cards!

Update: Gov. Lee told reporters Wednesday afternoon that he isn't planning to call a special session to address vouchers or hurricane relief.

@TheTNHoller @GovBillLee This actually happened in Nashville. During a tight budget year, the district shut down 3 neighborhood schools. Were it not for charter school growth, they would have remained open. Charter school advocates in Nashville consistently advocated for closing traditional schools.

This is how it works. Charter school interests ignore community input and parent voices. Neighborhood schools must be closed to open the door to privatization (ie, charter schools).
