I'm joining @OpenAI at the end of the month, and I can't wait to get started!
I'll be working on everything related to Codex, bringing what I learned building Codex Monitor, and working with the developer experience team with @romainhuet!

I'm joining @OpenAI to bring agents to everyone. @OpenClaw is becoming a foundation: open, independent, and just getting started.🦞

The amount of crap I get for putting out a hobby project for free is quite something.
People treat this like a multi-million dollar business. Security researchers demanding a bounty.
Heck, I can barely buy a Mac Mini from the Sponsors.
It's supposed to inspire people. And I'm glad it does.
And yes, most non-techies should not install this.
It's not finished, I know about the sharp edges.
Heck, it's not even 3 months old.
And despite rumors otherwise, I sometimes sleep.

Both @GeminiApp and @ChatGPTapp failed to generate a runnable web app on iOS.
Kudos to @claudeai but its 3d understanding needs improvement. After 3 iterations of wrong modeling I had to describe the shape in words for it to finally get it.

My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.

Most software engineer interviews suck. This is great! martiancraft.com/blog/2024/05/w…
My last company is also very pragmatic:
- short phone interview
- basic (no leetcode madness) algorithm interview
- paired programming with an engineer working on a real ticket in real product code

@JPEGuin Don't let that defeat or define you. I've failed Apple interview several times across many years. When I eventually got one offer I didn't go. It was no longer my dream job and the package was worse than what I had.

After getting incredibly close with some recent roles I had applied for at Apple (a lifelong dream), and fumbling at the last few stages, I'm facing recurring fatigue and frustrations (this is a 5 year-long ongoing search).
If you are, or know, someone who's hiring - I'm available.
I have a decade's worth of Swift and Apple platforms experience, and make cool apps → pnguin.app

Apple just terminated Epic's developer account, and they admitted that this tweet was one of the reasons.
We don't want to think about Apple being evil. It would be so inconvenient. We don't want to switch to Android. But I see ever more signs that power has corrupted them.
Tim Sweeney@TimSweeneyEpic
Apple leadership faces some massive decisions in the coming weeks as the contradictions between their stated principles and the intended and actual consequences of their present policies are reckoned with: the app store monopoly, the digital goods payments monopoly, the tax, the suppression of true information about competing purchasing options, the blocking of competing web browser engines and outright destruction of web apps. It doesn’t have to be this way. Apple is a few bold and visionary decisions away from being the company they once were and that they still advertise themselves to be: beloved brand to consumers, partner to developers, and overlord to none.
