@AnnTalpey @anabp4es Not a verb but in Australian English there's the phrase "flat out like a lizard drinking" (an equivalent to "busy as a bee")

Animal names used as verbs in different languages: 5. To badger (English) = to pester 4. To hamster (German) = to hoard or panic buy 3. To heron (Polish) = to sit down clumsily 2. To polar bear (Dutch) = to pace back and forth 1. To baby donkey (French) = to recite in a monotone
