I’m really sorry for your loss. What you describe is heartbreaking. Just to clarify gently: ILD & sleep apnea are very different. With ILD, the lung tissue itself is damaged, so oxygen can’t properly get into the blood any more, that’s why supplemental oxygen is needed. SpO₂ dropping into the 40s usually means the disease is already very advanced. Sleep apnea is different. The lungs are usually healthy, but the airway collapses during sleep. CPAP doesn’t add oxygen, it uses air pressure to keep breathing going normally and prevent those drops in oxygen in the first place. When treated early, it can be truly life-changing. Both involve low oxygen, but the cause and treatment are not the same. Your father was facing a very serious illness.

He studied at Mayo College, Ajmer, went on to set up one of the finest companies Fujeirah Gold, became Chairman of Hindustan Zinc, and earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Yet, beyond all titles and achievements, he remained simple, warm, and deeply human. To me, he was not just my son. He was my friend. My pride. My world. Kiran and I are broken. And yet, in our grief, we remind ourselves that the thousands of young people who work across Vedanta are also our children. Agnivesh believed deeply in building a self-reliant India. He would often say, “Papa, we lack nothing as a nation. Why should we ever be behind?” We shared a dream to ensure that no child sleeps hungry, no child is denied education, every woman stands on her own feet, and every young Indian has meaningful work. I had promised Agni that more than 75% of what we earn would be given back to society. Today, I renew that promise and resolve to live an even simpler life. There was so much life ahead of him. So many dreams yet to be lived. His absence leaves a void for his family and friends. We thank all his friends, colleagues and well-wishers for always being there for him. Beta, you will live on in our hearts, in our work, and in every life you touched. I do not know how to walk this path without you, but I will try carrying your light forward.

He was diagnosed with ILD and it was steroid responsive. I feel we lost him too early as the median survival is 17 months. Pls help u r inputs.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, Mr. Agarwal. The photos you posted from you and your son, show signs of untreated sleep apnea. Dark circles or swelling under the eyes can indicate a lack of oxygen during sleep under 80% blood oxygen in the deep sleep phase in the night; this is a well-known medical finding and common in untreated sleep apnea. Untreated obstructive sleep apnea is a serious risk factor for cardiovascular disease, including heart rhythm disorders and an increased risk of sudden cardiac death, especially at night. Studies show that severe apnea can significantly increase this risk. CPAP therapy reduces this risk for many patients. Your son's death occurred after a skiing accident, during his recovery in the hospital, due to sudden cardiac arrest. The hospital certainly did not have your son on a CPAP machine. Sleep apnea is hereditary. My advice, out of concern for your health, is to please have yourself examined in a sleep lab. Sleep apnea is highly treatable, and early treatment can save lives. Doctors really should be more aware of this condition, because if my diagnosis is right on you, your son had not die. Once again, my deepest condolences. May your family find strength.

Nitco is a Brand name. As of now Mcap is only 446 Cr . Price is 62 Everything else negative. Why I picked this time? 1) Because Authum Investment has aquired Debt from JM Fin which is a turning stone for me. Most of you may not consider it as a big deal, but I do. 2) Now, Nitco is already having 400 Cr sales even now when Co is making loses. The new owner has not to look for sales. It is already there!! How many Tiles Cos has 400 Cr turnover? 3) The problem is financial, the working Capital , the debt and I have confidence that Authum Invt will provide that very well and bring this Co out of woods. 4) At one time , the sales was almost 1000 Cr so, there is a scope of scalability too and even grow more to 1500-2000 Cr sales. 5) If Financial Problem is taken care of, there will be no looking back for this Co. 6) Remember with negative BV of 57, Negative sales growth, OPM negative, still Co price is quoting at 62!! At this negatives Nitco should be quoting at below 10!! 7) Authum is getting a Brand name Co, at only 446 Cr Mcap!! 8) Even now Co is introducing new products. 9) I know the total debt is 660 Cr but Authum is expert enough to find a deal much lower then this fig. nitco.in Now take ur call. Do ur DD. No debates..I know other info u will get from screener. And BTW, these all reasoning already came to my mind in mins , when I first read the news. I don't take too much time to come upon a stock.
