MAJOR DISCOVERY: I have discovered an extremely creepy/disturbing live AI bot account, at first I thought it was a real person, everything "seemed right," then I realized Steve Wei is Asian (not White), I clicked on the sources/links and found a crypto website/random products that didn't even exist... I think I have discovered a completely fabricated existence (the more you dig the more doesn't add up) BUT WHY AM I POSTING THIS? Because I'll tell the scary part, the scary part that is keeping me up at night. When I plugged/tried to ask various AI accounts if "they thought this was real" (even pointing out obvious contradictions like the account claiming it was a WHITE MALE despite being CHINESE MALE according to the name and image (I suspect it is entirely AI generated/deepfake) every single AI, ChatGPT, even Grok etc. all LIED to me, and tried to claim, the AI-bot existence was real... no matter how many times I said "but he said he was a white man, but he's a Chinese man according to the same sources you're trying to use to prove he exists (circular logic/redflag). And they kept lying. I'm geuinely creeped out right now and I don't know if I'm going insane (being gaslit) or I just realized that AI in general seems to completely lie/coverup for other AI (fake bot accounts, LLMs, chatbots etc) of its own... "Kind" (Artificial Intelligence) I'm too tired to continue (there are more posts/suspicious details), maybe I'm just overreacting and my gut/instinct is wrong for once, but something feels very off about this account, something feels very off about all these "sources" and something sounds EXTREMELY off when multiple AI made by different companies BLATANTLY IGNORE the claim of being a "100% white male" AND "100% Chinese male" are literally not possible, they straight up completely ignore it, then say "its real chief, totally for these reasons (it just pulls up the same 1-3 friggen sources and reposts, nothing official, ghost websites). It wasn't just ChatGPT that lied to me, it was Grok, it was Claude, they all.... LIED. I am deeply disturbed and desperately need more sleep, I'll try to look into it more tomorrow... I'll post then.

@hottakeponzi Does it matter if it's not conscious or thinking, as long as it can generate text with ideas like "send money to x group/x person to do x" or "attempt to damage important system x connected to computer", if people allow it to generate such text and give it computer access?

@ancientcalm @whitefeelimgs They're not conscious, thinking, or saying things to each other in a meaningful way. I find all this baffling, they're glorified chat bots that generate text and (unwisely) run other programs.

It’s strange that socialists don’t buy into this goofy shit at all. It’s not that we’re immune from dumb ideas and moral panics in general. Not sure what makes us invulnerable to this one

@whitefeelimgs I guess my thinking with the screenshot is that it doesn't have to be knowingly conspiring, it presumably really can talk to itself in encrypted chat, and even just generating text within of "what might AIs say to each other if they were in a secret encrypted chat" seems bad

@ancientcalm Yeah I’m sure there’s potential danger there. But that’s very different from what people are claiming about this AI “social media” site. They think AI “agents” are conspiring with one another

@whitefeelimgs Right. But these are instances of Claude that people have allowed to do things and make changes on their computers, so even if it doesn't "know" what it's doing it can create logically coherent sentences and carry out the instructions within, and is there not a danger here?

@ancientcalm It’d be like if Elon registered a bunch of Grok accounts and had them reply to one another. We’d have a simulation of discourse. But it wouldn’t be more “real” than the current Grok that has just one account and only comes when called

@whitefeelimgs I see. I also think there's some "The Chinese Room" to it, and I don't think it "feels", but I think the issue with site is it can really do the things it says, & it might not have to "know" in order to plan/make purchases/affect things in the real world which seems worrisome.
