@nikicaga It's just that the european outlook on insurgents taking up arms in liberation struggles is positive because of their partisan history, whereas the mainstream american outlook views them all indistinctly as terrorists because they're constantly caught up in counter-insurgencies.

🏳️‍⚧️OP is getting called out by other transitioners for lying about the well-known pediatric protocol (puberty blockers + estrogen) that @JonniSkinner was transitioned under at the age of 13. Jazz’s puberty was blocked even earlier than Jonni’s, and Jazz’s blocker remained in Jazz’s arm until at the age of 17, the adolescent’s gonads were surgically removed. This was broadcasted as a fact on international TV. It really goes to show that activists with the agendas to medicalize kids, when confronted with the barbarity of the outcomes these kids report in early adulthood— will simply pretend that the protocol which causes these predictable problems does not exist. They refuse to believe that the doctors they practically worship could do something that actually harms people. This is a case study in true insanity. ———————————————- Random pic of me + Jonni the legend from about a week ago which I haven’t posted yet

You don't get put on puberty blockers and estrogen, that completely defeats the purpose of either. Y'all are just paying for any type of detransition aren't ya

@dilanesper I think there has to be a line somewhere, no? I mean, choosing to dedicate your life to a person is somewhat indicative of your moral compass. If that person is a raging bigot and terrorism advocate, announcing a lifetime bond to that person publicly (via marriage) says something

i continue to think this is all silly. Mamdani married someone who said silly leftist claptrap in college. what's he supposed to do? not marry her? This ties in with my Lindy West take-- it is moronic to apply political tests to people's sex lives.

NEW from me Rama Duwaji — the wife of NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani— shared several posts glorifying Palestinian terrorism on old social media accounts that remain active. Duwaji also used the N-word. freebeacon.com/democrats/zohr…

Business idea: Raise $25,000,000 to build 5 premium 15,000 SF daycares. 3 acre lots. 3 businesses: 1 is the real estate holding company that owns the properties. $500k annual rent each NNN. Portfolio worth $35 million + a few months after you open them. 2nd is the development company. 10% construction fee means $2,500,000 in revenue there. 3rd is the daycare itself as a franchise model. I use my reach to recruit the ops team and then the franchisees. Collect $1.5 m + of franchise buy-in fees and 10% of revenue. At $300 a week per kid and 200 kids operator takes home $500k + as well. After this test run proves successful you raise $100 million and build 25 of them 18 months after the first. Build biz and real estate holdings with $100m of equity in 5 years time.

@CREID2852 @dilanesper CBS watchers don’t want Fox News lite. The thesis that you can grow an audience by pulling more “undecided” watchers does not work and never has.

@dilanesper Is this Bari or just CBS collapsing? Evening new watchers people who like to keep up with news but not obsessed with it. My guess very little has changed on the show.

@loganb @harryh Do those cities also happen to be lower cost of living? How much of the “spending way less money” part is just location?

@harryh I think this is correct, but also states with higher rates of mental illness and drug addiction but lower rates of homelessness while spending way less money also implies there’s a workable alternative to the blue city approach.

One way to think about this is that NYC could in principle give every homeless person an upper middle class lifestyle in, like, Cleveland. But since there’s no way to limit that money to just the people that need it, so they instead create a huge Byzantine service provider network that squanders most of the money on making the process so miserable most folks avoid it.
Charlie Smirkley@charliesmirkley

NYC spends more per homeless person than the median NYC household earns. $81,705 per person in FY2025. And $81,705 is a floor. It excludes supportive housing (~$500M/yr), mental health response teams, and NYPD encampment costs. The city projects ~$97K per person in FY2026.

it's the "fix market failures" part where you are assuming your conclusion. people like theil reject that framing--the solution to "market failure" is more markets. this is buchanan, tullock, et al on public choice: consider all firms (and the individuals who comprise them) to be "profit maximizers," whether "public," "private" or "nfp." then work from incentives to predict outcomes. again, you obviously disagree, but there's nothing "evil" about the alternative.

I met the guy, he was a real guy. I was going off what the Albanians were telling me. They were trustworthy, but no, I did not see the man's pay stubs so perhaps there was some miscommunication Let's cut it down to the low 100s, $120k, which seems to be believable, just to pacify you. The average Albanian was making $5k-$10k/year. These guys were well paid and above that, but not head and shoulders above it In that case, instead of his salary being roughly 10x the Albanians, it was only 7 or 8x. And he couldn't do his job

I met an American expat in 2007 that was making over $200k working for USAID in Albania. Lived like a king He had no idea how to do the most basic aspects of his job. The Albanians he worked with complained that they had to do his job for him, while making 1/10 as much
Danny@danzu72

I worked for USAID when It was closed, these guys literally were firing senior Foreign Service Officers with 30 years of experience on the spot. These kids were drunk on power and a reckoning is coming. I will always be hot about this shit. I know for a fact we allowed children to die because of these snotty shits.
