@VasilisStergiou @JamesonCamp Average Fortune 500 marketing budget allocation of revenue is 6-10% … average revenue for Fortune 500 is roughly $38billion. You do the math there

You’re either going to bookmark this and forget about it like you do with everything else. Or you’re going to set aside an hour tonight, dive in, and realize you just replaced a $10,000/month designer. Split test landing pages every 30 minutes. Rebuild every creative, every angle, every funnel. Keep perfect brand consistency off a single markdown file. Most people will choose the bookmark. They always do. And they’ll spend the next 2 years wondering why they’re falling behind…

@socoloffalex @JamesonCamp It would literally make more sense for him to talk about how community templates and envato elements replace a $10,000/mo designer. So ridiculous

I was today years old when I learned about Hazet tools!! I went to our garage to borrow tools, and noticed they have Hazet tools. I checked, and all were made in Germany! And then checked the price; they're so expensive! I want a few :D The full set in this picture costs ~€10k

I dare say that the Aqua Terra might be Omega’s best offering. Sporty, classic, sharp, refined. Just a perfect watch with a great looking and exceptionally comfortable strap+clasp

Rotax 125cc with the CRGs, 125 Shifter with the TonyKart and CRG DD2. My first kart was a cadet CRG which is a class itself My dad has gone racing his whole life so this was a core activity for us in my youth. Then it evolved to a bit of open wheel and then the realization hit that you need to have millions of dollars of disposable cash to race, lol.

That's the thing, you need certain info at a glance and whichever format gives it to you in the most meaningful way is the winner. I love analog for rate of change, vernier acuity, legibility in bright sunlight, and aesthetics, but when I need to see a specific number instantly (like speed), digital wins. No hunting around required. I always wanted a race kart, btw. What classes did you race?

Hydrogen is the stupidest, most ridiculous, and most impossible energy alternative. It takes 5 to 10 times more energy than it returns. This has been known since 2004, yet hydrogen refuses to die. It is far from renewable because it contains no energy at all—energy must be forced into it like a battery—and you lose even more when converting it back to electricity. It has the worst energy return of any alternative: far more energy goes in than you ever get back. Consider the process: you first split hydrogen from natural gas or use far more energy to electrolyze it from water, then compress or liquefy it, build extremely expensive and short-lived steel containers and pipelines (since hydrogen embrittles them), and finally deliver it to virtually non-existent hydrogen vehicles. Fuel cell technology remains far from commercial. It is also highly explosive. Hydrogen requires 12 times less energy to ignite than gasoline vapor, so the smallest spark or heat source can turn it into a bomb.

hydrogen Powered Car, 1,500 km range with a 5-second refill… sounds illegal.

Reminds me of when I grew up karting. We had these little digital dashes called a Mychron that displayed critical info like lap number and time. Could not have been a more analog and raw experience to race karts but just that little touch of digital gave you everything you needed.

I want to reiterate my thought more properly: What I meant is that I do not think great products should be judged purely by specs, performance, or “best bang for your buck.” That applies to tech, but honestly to objects in general. I think aesthetics matter far more than people realize. Not in some shallow way, but in the deepest possible sense you don't even think about. Proportion, restraint, elegance, presence, or any other fluff design wording you wanna use, but the feeling an object gives you when you use it or even just look at it, that stuff matters. A lot. It is no coincidence that certain products become loved far beyond their shitty competitors. MacBooks are the obvious example. They are sleek, unobtrusive, and feel intentionally designed in a way most products simply do not. That is exactly the kind of thinking I value in the products I love, and exactly the kind of thinking I try to bring into the products I make. That is why seeing the iPhone Air in real life made such a strong impression on me. It did not feel like just another piece of tech. It felt much more than that, and I don't remember the last time I looked at a phone that made me think at all, let alone give it this much thought..
Ekaeo@Ekaeoq

I’m very late to the party, but I genuinely think the iPhone Air is the most tasteful phone money can buy. It feels less like a tech product and more like an object people with taste would actually want to carry around. It’s sleek, elegant, and, not to mention, an engineering marvel.

@winterduck04 Time goes by slower for you when you're close to a powerful gravitational source like a black hole. Einstein figured out this very counterintuitive fact and then came up with equations to describe exactly how much slower/faster etc. We can calculate this with extreme precision

@McgregorJonryan @fleshsimulator Super helpful, thank u man. I am going to get the Zero Reds as my entry into IEMs. I was researching (which is overwhelming and almost futile without hands on experience), and I was seeing positive things about Ziigaat, do you have any experience with them / are they worth $200?
