1. zizzy | @zizzyza Zizzy's latest work involves exploration of the following: Left Image - "the beach with pink sand". Inspired by a place I visited last month, it started as a simple drawing on my sketchbook but I decided to transform it into a digital piece. Right Image - "dissociate while speaking English". Here I try to represent my point of view while speaking another language and all the struggles that come from it. It's a digital work and I'm experimenting a different composition/texture. Curator's Notes: There is something unique developing here that makes me think of the planet. Some advice to help your journey as you keep creating is to look at some symbols that reflect different lived experiences that revolve around connection. One artist that I think you might find interesting is Ruth Asawa and how she approaches these conversations. Your work also gives this link towards memories crossing over into different regions through patterns and nature's elements (Wind, Fire, Earth, etc.). Beautifully done!

2. J.P.F. | @jpfreira A select of artworks for J.P.F incoming collection 🔺 BETWEEN 🔻 In a world obsessed with destinations, we find ourselves in the transit. Some stories focus on the start, others on the end. Between is a tribute to the road, the flickering neons, the asphalt silence, and the moments that happen while we are still on our way. Curator's Notes: The color treatment that sits alongside the fading of darkness is mysterious, yet a beautiful scenery. It reflects the emotions of a solo traveler, recovering or reaching for something more. An idea perhaps is researching experimental film and seeing how different textures could effect the mood of each scene. Overall, I believe what makes this a strong direction is that there is a lot of potential to create a story through how light and shadows sit within the frames.
