This is where White liberals come from. They think they are "educated." They actually have been systematically abused so that the only way to belong is to hate themselves. (Image 1) They think they "know history." They actually have been pressured to accept a story about history that portrays them as evil and not deserving of life. (Image 2) The gray square is [all the facts]. The green circle is [a positive true story with a few ugly truths]. The red circle is [a negative story with a bunch of lies mixed in] White liberals have been force-fed the red circle (bad story with lies). They had to accept it to fit in. Now they think it is the gray square (all the facts). If everyone understood how beliefs are formed, no one would fall for this trick. That's not going to happen, though. People are far too stupid. Therefore, people will always believe the "circle" that it benefits them to believe. So who's telling the story?
