@5am1am_6 If she’d have led with the cat thing, she’d have seemed less crazy. Valid concern by green shirt lady, handled extremely poorly.

Neighborly Drama 🐾 It’s truly a shame when things can’t be handled like adults. There is definitely a better way to handle a situation like this without it being about drama or hostility. The Reality Check: You can't expect a neighbor to open the door when the behavior is this tense. The Bigger Picture: When animals and children are involved, safety and calmness should always come first. Why Empathy Wins A simple conversation can solve almost anything, but it has to start with mutual respect. Let’s lead with kindness and find solutions together! What would you do? 👇 [ ] Talk it out calmly ☕ [ ] Leave a polite note 📝 [ ] Involve a neutral party 🤝 [ ] Just keep the door shut 🚪

Planing to stay with an AMD CPU given how strong and stabile my current once has been. The 4090 will stay for a year or two as well. 5090 jump not seeming worth it at the moment with current wackado GPU pricing.

M computer is running great really. Surprisingly well, in fact. The AMD 3950X based rig I built in early 2020 has went a couple *years* past my typical upgrade cycle. Ran a 2080Ti in it initially and upgraded to a 4090 in early 2025.

I may have to give in and finally upgrade my PC. These RAM and storage prices make it an absolutely stupid time to do so.

@RamonTinio @jimchubb @BrianPrescott48 I fully understand the risks and benefits of exogenous hormone use. I was speaking specifically to a framing of “chemicals” as some inherently bad thing, when every part of our body is driven by chemicals.

@andeholmes @jimchubb @BrianPrescott48 Well, the difference is that those chemicals inside my body making testosterone is ALREADY inside my body while you have absolutely no idea where those chemicals from questionable manufacturers come from and there's this:

They want to hook you on testosterone injections for life, a subscription to their system. They buried the truth: the “father of testosterone,” a natural hormone called DHEA, which your own body uses to create T. Work with your body, not against it.… twitter.com/i/web/status/2…

Everyone wants to be asked out more. 2,315 people were asked “Do you wish people hit on you more or less?” 92% of men said they wish they were approached more. There’s a moderate sex difference, but even among women, 69% wished they were hit on more. Shoot your shot, folks. — @CostelloWilliam

@jimchubb @BrianPrescott48 Natural hormones? What? You think the pharmaceutical companies have a farm with studs and they milk them daily for testosterone? 🤣 They are made with CHEMICALS. Don't believe the pharmaceutical industry. There's a reason they make money hand over fist 👊

@Shaun__Furman @Dr_Singularity Nothing is utopian about it. That’s the point. It’s not going to do any of this. Sure, it will displace a ton of jobs. Yes, massive losses of wages would bring about deflation, but it wouldn’t be some joyful moment where we all just do art and live off magically funded UBI.

The people claiming it would be illegal for Elon to pay the salaries of government employees are unintentionally admitting something else: that Elon suggested doing something unlawful.

@parlance2025 @AmericaPapaBear Blocking the free movement of your fellow citizens (shutting down a major roadway) is escalating force.

@AmericaPapaBear Escalating conflict and celebrating force against fellow citizens creates a cycle of hostility that leaves everyone less safe. If scenes of civil unrest and reactive policing become the new normal, what kind of society are kids inheriting. Civility is worth defending.

🚨BREAKING: Chaotic scene at the No Kings rally in Denver! After the main rally at the Capitol, some protesters turned violent and attempted to shut down traffic on I-25. Police in riot gear were forced to deploy tear gas. Rioters were pushed back to 20th and Blake, next to Coors Field. I am a bit shocked to see this from Denver PD but I like it!

@MoCapital_0x @0x45o Hobbies are key. But as I’m sure you’ve observed, that approach doesn’t work for everyone. Many, without the rudder in their ship of a formal job, quickly devolve into depression and lack of purpose. Perhaps most.

@0x45o This is false. Every day I do not work, I play many hours of banjo 🪕 I don’t die, and I’m able to grow musically. Find a hobby you love. 🥰
