Planing to stay with an AMD CPU given how strong and stabile my current once has been. The 4090 will stay for a year or two as well. 5090 jump not seeming worth it at the moment with current wackado GPU pricing.

M computer is running great really. Surprisingly well, in fact. The AMD 3950X based rig I built in early 2020 has went a couple *years* past my typical upgrade cycle. Ran a 2080Ti in it initially and upgraded to a 4090 in early 2025.

I may have to give in and finally upgrade my PC. These RAM and storage prices make it an absolutely stupid time to do so.

alas without electric kettles we are left with no ability to brew a caffeinated beverage by subjecting finely chopped plant matter to hot water no American household has a device that can do this
