@aliciaandrz I had a professor give a take home physics test over Thanksgiving. Took me 30 hours to complete. I also had a 30 page paper due the week after Thanksgiving. I came out of my room long enough to eat Thanksgiving dinner, and that was all. 🤬

I hear that many profs have major assignments due after breaks or more readings on Mondays, after the weekend, & it bugs me. the whole point of a break & the weekend is for students to rest, not to have extra time to work. I try not to have anything due the class after a break.

There is no repairing many of the roads in NC from a traditional sense. After watching a good many high quality videos on YouTube this evening, not only will new roads have to be reengineered from scratch (like the old road was never there), but you will likely have to have a full rebuild of all infrastructure in many of these towns.
