We forgot the key in the ignition, and the car was still there. You can walk at any hour in the major cities without any issues

@nnwakelam That’s why I have 12 cats. I’m afraid to let someone else adopt some of them and then find out later that they had a bad life. At least I can try to keep them safe and happy

So the Russian guy who rented this house before us the day his lease expired he took his two indoor cats and just dumped them outside and left. The day we got here they were both cowering at the front door visibly confused. We had to leave for a week and I regret not catching them and taking them to a cat shelter then. Months later they are half feral and they just hang out and I feed them, every time I see how vulnerable and confused these cats are it makes me want to track this guy down and violently assault him. Witnessing this up close is really upsetting.
