@runningprofits @A1Mhigh not sure how a tweet asking about ur process can come across as aggressive, (maybe its to do w character limits not allowing for enough flowery language)...anyway, lets see how the oil names do...personally wdnt be buying them here, but who knows....
English

step through the UK O&G names this am and see the pullback buys in action as price bounces off key price levels 👇
8EMA #BP #SHEL #TTE #ENQ #DEC #TGA #RKH
21EMA checks in #ITH #SQZ #TLW #HBR
meanwhile #GTE #FOG #GMS #CNE all in green on the day even as ##oil pullback to below $100
If you are expecting #Oil to "go back" to 70 bucks any time soon you haven't been paying attention: for PRODUCING oilers (and services companies) E is going to go up , P is just leading : multiples expand
English

@runningprofits @A1Mhigh sure, hence asked for spcific examples, eg lets take SHEL, by ur analysis i shld b buying them cos theyve touched 8day ema. In SHEL's case thats a c4% fall from the hi, (in the context of a 40% rise in 6mnths-hence my 'tiny pullback' comment earlier)-am I understanding correctly?
English

tt's more abt process - I trim and add around core positions - the adherence to 8EMA or 21EMA trends is a function of momentum : higher mom names will tend to bid off the 8 (v high off the 5 EMA) lower mom the 21EMA - all depend on the underlying (Brent or Natty) - there are simple rules for trend transitions
