@TaeSpencerTanzi Both at once. Payments Canada has the rails ready in spec but the Big Five have no incentive to push live dates. The oligopoly is the bureaucracy. Until a fintech with regulatory backing forces it, settlement stays at three days.

We need fewer fireside chats on AI strategy and more rooms where builders fight over why Canadian payment rails still take three days to settle. The talent shows up every year. The conversations rarely earn the room.
