@Kev_Andrew @Feljin_J Kevin your example from London shows the roof overhanging the entirety of the platform right up to the doors of the train. Feljins picture shows that in Tara Street it covers about 30% of that, leaving the rest exposed.

@Feljin_J True but to be fair that’s a platform, pretty common for them to be open to the elements. Even the recently redeveloped London Bridge platforms are very exposed. No excuse for the lack of toilets however.

Ireland's fourth busiest train station doesn't even have a proper roof. Or toilets.
