One of the many night-and-day differences I noticed during my month away from here was the endless (both useful and useless) information provided here. Your brain gets constantly stimulated and avoids doing the *relatively* difficult tasks that are actually internal markers of achievement (reading, writing, actually solving problems, finishing projects) over time. Social media will slowly sap your ability to think and accomplish on your own if you let it. Ok I’ll get off my soapbox now

Obama's biggest "lie" was "You can keep your doctor" during the ACA passage, even though he didn't remove that option, the GOP did. Trump's lied so much that it's hard to pick just one, but "I'll bring down prices on day one" has to be in the top ten.

@theDunit13 Well just like cardboard, "base" cards aren't worth anything, but they kept selling the packs expecting them to have value. It was always a disconnect. Scarcity was the allure, until things weren't scarce anymore. Classic NFT play.

@AndrewHallFF yeah. It's following the same pattern as real sports cards. The biggest stuff is priced out of the range of the average collector, and the "hits" are rarely found by the common person.

@theDunit13 They catered more to the whales than I thought they should. Supply was always going to be an issue. Good players would always get more moments then bad ones which diluted their value.
