@jszmajda The thing I like about it is I can read an email in Airmail on my phone, capture a link to it in OmniFocus, and then on my Mac the link opens the same message in Airmail.
@johnolilly We recently watched Captain Marvel with our local 10 year old and it went well. Funny, not too intense, and stands on its own. After that we did Black Panther, but haven’t gone further.
Here are the lighthouses of Europe.
The map is even better than it might seem at first glance: the colors are the real colors, the patterns are the real patterns, and the size of the dots is the distance at which each light is visible. geodienst.github.io/lighthousemap/
Hawk scare yesterday! The hens were wandering around in the grass, we heard a kerfuffle, then caught the sight of a hawk flying away empty-taloned. The girls all seem fine, despite evidence of one being grazed, but were huddled under shrubs for a good 20 min after.
@dissolved I had an HP printer as well that just started disappearing from the network. After going through a bit of troubleshooting each time I could get it back on the network, but it became more and more unreliable until finally it could no longer remember it had wifi hardware at all.
@Carnage4Life I agree the article is sensationalism. It did make me think about tax policy though and we do have property taxes which go up and down based on the total _value_ of your house, not on the income from your house. So just taxing gains doesn’t have to be the only way taxes work.
@Carnage4Life Totally agree with your highlight here. I've found that just asking people why they see A is better than B is a great way of hearing their priorities. Contrasting different options is a great tool, instead of just saying A is better.
For years I've told people I find it really easy to switch back and forth between my Ergodox and my MacBook keyboard when I'm out and about.
With COVID, I haven't worked anywhere but in my house at my desk all winter and going outside I can barely type on the MacBook now 😅
