@thomasbrushdev Yah, I'm getting tired of waiting on God's judgement, I'm losing faith in our God...

@android272 So true. But he owes us all judgement you know?

Lots of confusion about what Christianity is at its core. Couple things: human beings are basically purposefully “ungodly” meaning they suck and they hurt other people (all of us), and God owes them nothing. In fact he owes them judgement. But God instead became human and said I’ll take your guilt so you can be with me. You can say “no thanks” and he’ll let you be away from Him, or you can say “Help” and He will, forever. Thats about it. The bad things you do are actually really really really bad, perhaps we just don’t feel that way because everyone does bad things. But in the presence of God the bad you do is eternally, infinitely awful. (This is the sticking point for a lot of folks who feel like they are “decent”). I can only personally speak for myself: I’m not decent, trust me. I know what goes thru my head. I need some kind of “get out of jail free card”. If this sounds psycho I get it. But I also know how often I ask my own wife to forgive me daily haha. Okay so what is God though? God is the entity outside of this dimension, outside of this server. You’re the dish, he’s the cook (so no, the “who made god argument makes no sense, like saying “who cooked the cook”). And billions of people feel him but they argue about what he is. Just cuz people argue about who God is doesn’t mean there’s no God, rather it means for some reason billions of people thru history felt him. Christians say he is singular, is the equivalent of love, and became man.

You work 8 hours to live 4.
You work 5 days to enjoy 2.
You work 8 hours to eat in 15 minutes.
You work 8 hours to sleep 6
You work all year just to take a week or two vacation.
You work all your life to retire in old age.
And watch only your last breaths.
Eventually, you realize that life is nothing but a parody of yourself practicing your own oblivion.
We have become so accustomed to material and social slavery that we no longer see the chains..
Life is a short trip.

What the fuck @xai why am I getting this shit more and more often? Constantly and repeatedly. I go to the History button, it says I have no threads, I go again, and I do, I tap on the thread and it says we can't find that conversation. Sometimes I can get in others I cannot.

@thomasbrushdev "It's outdated" is a stupid argument. AAA games these days suck, most aren't even created for enjoyment. It's up to us indies to bring back the old ways and create games that were meant to be enjoyed.

Update to a tweet I posted earlier that folks aren't really understanding. Removed that one because it didn't really make sense, gonna try and clarify better in THIS one: Mewgenics success is quite interesting, and YES, there IS something to learn from it (despite them having a large following already). Ed and Tyler use "old" technology (Flash was one of them) and potty humor that is Ed's trademark style. I've heard naysayers say "they use OLD ENGINES" and "the humor is dated and overused". Yet, Ed and Tyler powered through all of that negativity and stuck with what they are GIFTED AT. It's tempting to change your style, and how you make games because people say it's "dated" or "overused". In my conversations with them, I learned that they ignore the noise. They focus on what they are gifted at, and what made their games fun in the past, and just scale that. They iterate on what they know, over and over. So, here's the lesson: learn about your gifting by releasing games, and focus on what's working. Don't listen to the noise about your engine, "outdated" stuff, and just scale what's working, what's actually fun.
