So if the ball is in the air you can just run into the foot of a player just winding up to kick it and you get a penalty?! This sport is a JOKE and why us Americans will never really care about it. We don’t reward stupid tactics like this ✌️

Per, @MikeVorkunov “Wachtell Lipton, the league’s go-to law firm hired to conduct the inquiry, inspected if the Clippers circumvented the NBA salary cap by facilitating a sponsorship deal for Leonard with Aspiration, it has also looked into whether the Clippers improperly covered expenses for Leonard but were not reimbursed for them.”

I think one think that’s been forgotten in the whole “Nuggets brass are cheap” narrative - we signed three dudes to max contracts, then traded for AG. That was a luxury tax team they were going to pay for. The new CBA screwed up that team w a 2nd apron no other team will touch

@SteffyReefy Regardless, none of it refutes my point, and if anything confirms it. The ownership isn't cheap when it comes to players. If anything, it's had more to do with bad decision making they are currently trying to get out of.

@whippy_titan I think they will/would pay as well. But I get why the second apron is tough though. It’s a lot easier to talk about $20M vs $175M and other penalties and still not be a favorite. So it’s hard for me to get mad about “being cheap”

@andy__mick I think they were willing to pay for a championship level team. The issue isn’t the second apron, any team that thinks they’re a top 3 team in the league should willing to go over second apron. They might not think they are there at the top. I’d be paying it in Jokic prime
