We delivered the first fully-humanless commercial truckload on a public highway in America. Full stop. No in-cab observer. No remote controller. No passenger. Just the truck, the freight, and a load that made us money. A 230-mile journey from Houston to Dallas on Interstate 45, one of the busiest freight corridors in Texas. It took less than three years to get to this point, so how did we do it? 1. A dedicated vision unclouded by distractions or offshoots. We want to move freight for customers who believe in the power of autonomy, so we did. 2. A team that is THE best at what they do. From our engineers to our safety advocates to our leadership, everyone was pointed towards the same goal. 3. Technology that never faltered, never questioned itself, and performed exactly as designed and tested. 4. A partner who trusts us to get the job done. Ryan Transportation booked and paid for this run, we delivered on time for a service lane they have struggled with in the past. So now what? We do it again. And again, and again. We expand our lanes, start running southbound on I-45, book more loads, and deliver more freight. We stay true to our mission of unbeatable service and grow to be THE trusted autonomy provider in Texas, then in America. The autonomy economy is real; it's here right now. We are leading the charge, and we will keep winning.

1 year ago I was the first check in a nootropics pouch company called Ultra. They are RIPPING. The fastest growing consumer product I've ever seen. Yesterday, they got a shoutout on a small interview podcast. Thanks for the shout, Joe.

Giving away the exact Custom Skills Folder we use inside Claude Code to write our cold email sequences at ColdIQ. Trained on the same emails that have generated over $10M for our clients. Plus the master prompt we engineered to clone their buyer psychology. I've tested every AI model for cold email. ChatGPT. Gemini. Grok. They all produce okay copy. But okay doesn't get replies. Claude Code is the first one that changed that. It doesn't come off as AI. It comes off as your best AE on a good day. How it works: > Drop in a target website, a LinkedIn URL, or a detailed ICP > It returns a 3-step outbound sequence > Fully optimised for Instantly > Under 45 seconds, start to finish It feels conversational. Opens strong. Ready to launch in your campaigns. Most people are still prompting ChatGPT to "write a cold email." This is what running 7-figure outbound in the background actually looks like. Want the Skills Folder, the master prompt, and the full system? → Like this post and follow me → Comment "EMAIL" and I'll send you the link.

If you are not on the side of Iran becoming a free society and overthrowing their repressive dictatorship, you are deeply lost in a mind-virus, ideological black hole, likely reinforced by foreign actors influencing through social media
U.S. Senator John Fetterman@SenFettermanPA

The Iranian regime executed a 19 year old for demanding democracy. I stand with his memory and the thousands of other young Iranians. Those who grieve the elimination of Iranian leaders over murdered protesters is telling.

What I’ll miss most in our post tariff world is Chinese copywriting… “Try to make life easier…. For every clingy baby you will need it.” 🤣 also, this thing was a steal at $6.99 on Amazon.

My first AI ChatGPT tweet… fed by my own curiosity. 🚨 THREAD: How the “PayPal Mafia” is Using Trump’s Administration to Take Over the Government (And Maybe Even Buy Greenland) 🚨 1/ What if I told you that Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, David Sacks, and Ken Howery are running a shadow government inside Trump’s administration? They’re infiltrating the Treasury, controlling AI policy, and—maybe—plotting to buy Greenland. 🧵👇 2/ DOGE: The Billionaire’s Trojan Horse Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was created to “audit inefficiencies” in the U.S. government. It’s packed with Musk and Thiel’s handpicked 20-something tech bros who now have access to U.S. Treasury systems. 3/ David Sacks: Crypto Puppet Master The former PayPal COO is now Trump’s AI & Cryptocurrency Czar, giving him control over the future of digital finance and regulation. With his ties to Musk’s X (Twitter) and Thiel’s crypto empire, this is Silicon Valley’s dream takeover. 4/ Ken Howery’s Greenland Gambit This one is wild. Howery—another PayPal Mafia billionaire—was Trump’s Ambassador to Sweden. Now, he’s heading to Denmark, which just happens to control Greenland. 🚨 REMEMBER: In 2019, Trump tried to buy Greenland for its rare earth minerals and strategic Arctic position. Denmark said NO. 5/ Was Howery’s Appointment a Setup for Round Two? With Howery now positioned as Trump’s guy in Denmark, is this another attempt to force a Greenland sale? Or worse—a Thiel-backed private land grab disguised as a U.S. diplomatic move? 6/ Palantir’s 24% Stock Surge: Coincidence? Thiel’s gov-tech giant Palantir just surged in value after DOGE was granted Treasury oversight. Translation? They’re about to make a fortune from “auditing inefficiencies.” 7/ Anduril, Thiel’s Defense Startup, Cashes In With JD Vance as VP (Thiel’s protégé), expect massive Pentagon deals for Thiel-backed companies. The Arctic (including Greenland) is strategic for future U.S. military expansion—and Anduril is perfectly positioned to profit. 8/ Final Thought: The PayPal Mafia’s Endgame? •Control the Treasury ✅ •Shape AI & Crypto Policy ✅ •Secure Billions in Gov Contracts ✅ •Take Over Greenland? 👀 The “PayPal Mafia” built PayPal to bypass banks—now they’re using the same playbook to bypass democracy. 👇 What do you think?

@gregisenberg I assume User value is low due to churn and retention issues. Nextdoor is all spam. A better user comp would be LinkedIn, Quora, Reddit…

Tell me why acquiring NextDoor is a bad idea. It's down 75% since IPO. And it feels wildly undervalued to me. 1) Cash $432.68M 2) Valuation is $524M ($956M - $432.68M) 3) Weekly active users 42 million So they are valuing a weekly active user at $10.28/user Meanwhile....other social apps value their users differently Snap: ~$86/user Meta: ~$130/user Pretty crazy. It smells like an opportunity. Here's how I'd turn it into a money-printing machine: It’s an ads business. Whenever I see an ads business, I see a misplaced assets. So, I’d build a local membership. 1) Low ticket ($10/month) - access to marketplaces, IRL community events, discounts, LinkedIn stylewho's viewed your profile. Make this a must have for everyone in the neighborhood. Think Amazon Prime for Neighborhoods. How do you make it a must add to cart. 2) High ticket ($300/month) - this is for the ballers. Maybe this includes monthly cleaners, some status symbol Pretty sure a local user like that is worth more than $10.28 Tell me me why acquiring Nextdoor is a bad idea. Am I wrong?

Last week, we had 70 leaders at @Mercury in our new SF office. Feeling pretty excited about what we have accomplished and our plans this year: * 8 quarters of profitability with more money on the balance sheet than we have ever raised (>$163m) * Q1 was our best quarter in customer growth and revenue (and Q2 trending stronger). March 2024 beat the SVB surge of March 2023 * 200k+ customers and 640 employees * Talked a lot about becoming a multi-product company with the launch of Mercury Personal, bill pay, invoicing and reimbursements * Thanks to @gokulr and @tarstarr on giving great talks on building multi-product companies at scale

Any services similar to somewhere.com (formerly Shepherd)? Had a couple of calls with them but now haven't heard back in a week. Presumably they're overwhelmed w/ demand from the past couple of weeks but I've got hiring to do. 🙂

@FortifyCG @sweatystartup Thanks for sharing. I also recommend looking into a secured line of credit. Same concept, just assets aren’t tied up in insurance vehicle. Interest only, pull from whenever needed without bank approval.

@andy_josuweit @sweatystartup 3. No hit to my credit. No request to a bank to jump through the hoops. By the time most of us would be at pension age, you can treat your policy cash value like a self administered pension. It's not the boogie man, it's just a really great tool.

@FortifyCG @sweatystartup The use case is you have $30m of assets you plan to leave to children. Gets taxed upon death, use insurance to pay taxes so kids don’t have the burden.

We just wrapped our annual company all-hands retreat at the stunning Chateau Elan outside Atlanta! These events take a ton of time and effort, but they’re a powerhouse of alignment and energy. Here’s why it’s all worth it for a fully remote company like Launch Potato: 1. Face-to-Face Collaboration There's something irreplaceable about gathering our incredible talent in one spot. Discussing our biggest challenges and brainstorming face-to-face beats any Zoom call. It’s where strategic magic happens. 2. Breakout Activities We mix serious business with serious fun. From pickleball and wine tasting to mindfulness workshops, we ensure there’s something for everyone. It’s not just a meeting. It’s a team-building experience. 3. Fireside Chats & Strategy Sessions Conversations with leadership and tactical meetings across different business areas allow us to dive deep into our future as a company in real time. 4. The Energy Boost Every all-hands fuels our team for the year ahead. We leave connected, energized, and ready to tackle our next challenges at full speed. The outcome? A team that’s aligned and excited about our future. The change of scenery doesn’t hurt either. For more on building remote companies, follow me @gregvanhorn.

@aaronrubin Not just $10m - “QSBS protects up to 10x their investment from long-term capital gains taxes, or $10 million, whichever is greater. For example, an investor who put in $10 million could avoid paying federal capital gains tax on up to $100 million.”

When you hear talk about taxation and business blah blah, remember... QSBS is a "thing" that means if you file the correct papers at the correct time you don't have to pay federal capital gains on $10 million when you sell your business. Why? The fuck if I know.
