@R0dchenko Your contempt for the working class is obvious. The line @SwampCommunist is referring to is not simply "get a working class job"—it involves being organized and organizing on the shop floor in a particular way. Full strategy here: frso.org/main-documents…

The idea that Marxism will naturally take off if we were to “grind the economy to a halt” is a completely false and accelerationist notion. If the economy were to grind to a halt right now it would most likely be the existing opportunists within the liberal and fash camps that would take advantage. We have to build a political pole that can take advantage of crisis, because crisis alone will never lay the foundation for Marxism.
📕@SwampCommunist

@GrandFrequency If you're a Marxist and want to organize the working class for revolution, organizing in the strategic industries that can most effectively grind the economy to a halt is a good idea

The point of class analysis is not to judge individuals, but to understand the general revolutionary potential of large groups of people. Some petty bourgeois will take up revolution. But our broad strategy should focus on the working class. frso.org/main-documents…

@WxPolitics15 We need fusion of Marxism with the workers movement. There was a time in this country when communists were leaders of large sections of the working class. Not coincidentally, this was when the labor movement was most militant and made the most gains.

@chndyun8 True, and none of this discourse on who is petty bourgeois is meant to discount individual members of whatever class from taking up revolutionary activity. But it is the proletariat on the whole that has revolutionary potential as a class.

Mao: "The petty bourgeoisie. Included in this category are the owner-peasants, the master handicraftsmen, the lower levels of the intellectuals--students, primary and secondary school teachers, lower government functionaries, office clerks, small lawyers--and the small traders."

“We don’t need more people getting paid to write about socialism to wide audiences where people can read and be inspired politically en masse!!! We need academics to stop doing that and to make the proletariat *instead* by moving boxes all day!” Do you actually hear yourself rn?
📕@SwampCommunist

We dont need more or better Marxist professors we need a Marxist organized proletariat. Drop out of college and go move boxes for UPS or come lash shipping containers at the port

The objective conditions we are dealing with are not static. We can change the conditions through our work, through struggle. By interacting with a situation, we become part of it and alter it.

in bourgeois public life. No class is homogenous or fixed and unchanging. The determination of someone as petty bourgeois does not "disqualify" them from being a revolutionary. But we are talking about classes, huge groups of people, and the tendencies of the class as a whole

Join the organization with a real strategy for revolution: frso.org/join "Our basic strategy for revolution and socialism is building a united front against the monopoly capitalist class, under the leadership of the working class and its political party, with a strategic alliance between the multinational working class and the oppressed nationalities at the core of this united front."
