@Connor12Gamer @GeorgeHogg93 We definitely won’t survive if we only get three. I think we’ll need 6. I believe Sheff Weds is winnable, a point v Wrexham, and I believe if we’ve left it till the end, we have to hope Millwall are on the beach thinking of the play offs

Four to play, in need of a Pompey collapse: Derby (a) Wrexham (h) Sheffield Wednesday (h) Millwall (a) We keep at it, as long as we are winning #oufc

@jakemeyers2015 @danielfreeman83 Have to say they were the worst team at Oxford for me too, only a month ago. Weirdly they seem to be picking up results all of a sudden, not sure how based on what I saw

What a situation we’ve got at the bottom of the #championship. Sounds Leicester media and fans think they’re gone, not mathematically but psychologically and mentally. Us and Pompey have the bit between our teeth. What’s the mood #wba, #brfc and #cafc?

@roller1004 @HarryCallaghan_ Exactly. Only when we pushed on in the second half did it look like a 4. May have been a decision in part down to the wind, but Personally I’m not a fan, I feel it invites pressure on RHS as there’s nothing in front of mills and invites the full back on.

@DanNash86 I think the one thing to look at is the run ins. Portsmouths looks the hardest. They got lucky today but I still think we (Oxford) will get another 6 points, Portsmouth will get sucked in with Leicester and Wednesday

Looking at the remaining fixtures, they may surprise but I struggle to see Oxford taking more than 4 points from their remaining games. Leicester look done, dispirited. So regardless of what Pompey do from here, one more win likely keeps Albion up, and two more will for sure #WBA

@owenthfc__ There’s plenty of people who agreed in that tournament that they would have played Watkins over Kane at certain points. He looked like he was wading through treacle for much of that tournament, and most people were asking for it way before 70 mins v Denmark

Richards is the worst followed by Lineker. They both despise him. Shearer used to prop him up until he realised his goal record is in danger

@_CFCWhizz All great, but Gerrard was the best overall in his prime. All have their areas where they can claim to be the best, but the areas where they are weaker, Gerrard was still better than most in those. He was the most complete player.

@_CFCWhizz I don’t think any of these are over rated, they are all great players. But based on achievements, I’d probably say drogba. The other three are definitely not, and at best, he’s the most lucky to be on the same page as the rest.

@mej050593 To all the pompey fans responding saying they’d be safe by now, they’re probably right, but look on the positive side. Once he is in the final year of his contract, he’ll be back looking a world beater again looking for a new contract or club. But you won’t see him till then

@grassrootsrefJa @IanDarke I had a similar conversation with a coach who said I’d “lost control of the game”… I asked when a referee has ever been charged with failing to control the players vs a team/club. Their job to control themselves, my job to apply the laws 🤷‍♂️

@IanDarke Why is the referee who made the game harder not the player who made a "wild and poor" challenge?

On further review , have to admit that Conor Ogilvie’s challenge was wild and poor for Pompey v Oxford. Ref could have said yellow for ‘ reckless’ but decided red for ‘ excessive force endangering an opponent’. Made game harder for himself. But appeal will fail.

@Pompeyboyblues And 100% I get that. I probably would have given it as a yellow, but there you go. With the first one, I’d be annoyed if one of our players slid in dangerously, giving the ref a decision to make. I just think there was no need to do so.

Pompey fans losing their heads about it being a red, blaming the ref. How about blame Ogilvie who lunged nowhere near the ball, only aiming to take the player out & hurt them. He had no need to tackle him as he had defenders 5 metres away? Be frustrated, but blame Ogilvie #oufc

@Antni_b @pn_jordan_cross Actually, it’s not irrelevant if he believes there’s no intent from the other player and it was the Portsmouth player that caused it by running into him. No point mentioning some other foul, that’s irrelevant, it’s a totally different incident

@andyamonty @pn_jordan_cross Completely irrelevant. The direction Devlin chooses to run doesn't change the fact that it's a tactical filoul and a yellow all day long. Gave Pack one shortly after for the same thing with the Oxford player going nowhere in midfield

MORE REF CONTROVERSY. Now Devlin is fouled by Spencer as he breaks. Looks a yellow and would be a second - but referee give s a foul only. Spencer now taken off by Oxford.

@IanDarke @andydaviesref So when the ball is nowhere to be seen, but the player goes straight through their opponent with two feet, you don’t think that’s excessive force? He had to roll a full 180 to then kick the ball! Your views might have been accurate in the dark ages but the games moved on

@andydaviesref A poor challenge yes but not ‘ excessive force’ nor ‘ endangering an opponent’. Not really. Taking temperature of game , ref could have given yellow. Not even Oxford players were protesting. Think ref made game hard for himself . Bizarre no 2nd yellow Spencer.

Referees advised not to make shock decisions. Josh Smith might have been the only observer who thought Ogilvie’s tackle against Oxford was a red card. Huge call in such a key game. Big point for Pompey to get a late draw after playing 72 mins with 10 men. Both wingers good.

@jakemeyers2015 There’s no grounds for an appeal, let alone it being successful. Has to be either mistaken identity or obvious error, ie, the player has tried to claim contact when there wasn’t any. Again, clearly not.

Ogilvie's challenge was stupid, and gave the ref a decision to make which I unfortunately think he got right. If it gets overturned, I will hold my hands up 100% and say I was wrong. I don't mind a portion or two of humble 🥧 Watch this space 👀🍿 #Pompey

What’s wrong, completely unethical and borderline corrupt, is how the referee goes for his card to issue a 2nd yellow card to Oxford player who completely takes out Devlin (A booking every day of the week). Realized the player is already booked so make a conscious choice to ensure Oxford keep 11 Vs 10. #Pompey
