There's lots of hype in the vibe coding arena about just opening any AI tool and muddling your way to a million dollar app by just "saying what you want" (even if you've never built anything before). There may be lucky exceptions - but for the most part this is bullshit. The truth is that 'vibe coding' without a clue or a plan is a one-way ticket to tech debt hell, and untold pain and frustration (+ wasted time, money and opportunity). I'm working with two clients at the moment who have both been in this pain cave for many months because they thought AI meant they could skip the boring stuff. Spoiler: you can't. In both cases, we've had to start from scratch rather than trying to clear up the mess. The most powerful tool in your AI stack isn't Cursor, Claude Code, Factory AI or Codex or whatever's next - it's basic product management and software engineering discipline. - A clean, logical file structure. - Clear, well-structured, regularly updated docs. - Solid tech architecture. - Version control. - Test-driven development. - A simple planning system that you actually adhere to. - A session-start and session-end process that ensures that you can confidently hit the ground running every day. ...(what have I missed??) Boring? Maybe. But a shitload less boring than losing hours, days or weeks trying to firefight bugs and patch spaghetti code monsters. tl;dr: - Most AI builders focus on "what to build" but completely neglect "how to work." - The "work around the work" is what separates pros from amateurs, scalable systems from chaos.

@cyrilXBT Is this a joke? This is possibly the least engaging and least practical AI content I’ve ever wasted my time on What am I missing?

Most people will spend 4 hours tonight consuming. Zero creating. Then wonder why nothing changes. 1) Scroll until you fall asleep. 2) Or watch this. A Stanford lecture on Agentic AI that teaches you more about how AI automation actually works than 6 months of copying Make and n8n tutorials. Tool calling. Multi-step workflows. Planning. Reflection. The foundations behind every automation system that actually works. Most people learn this by copying tutorials blindly. Stanford teaches you WHY agents work the way they do. Watch the lecture first. Then go through 9 real build projects across 2 weeks: APIs. Webhooks. LLM integration. AI workflows. No theory. Just build. The people who do this weekend will understand AI automation at a level that makes everything they build after faster, cleaner, and more powerful. The people who skip it will still be copying tutorials in 2027 wondering why nothing they build actually works. Completely free. Bookmark this before you open Netflix.

I'm giving away the Claude Code skills we use to manage $300k/mo in ad spend at ColdIQ. 4X ROAS on $1M+ spent. Ivan, our head of growth, built them off 300+ hours running ad campaigns for our clients. They run Google, Meta, and LinkedIn ads from the terminal in plain English: → bulk edits across platforms → custom audiences from CRM lists → creative fatigue detection before CTR dips → bid adjustments at scale → performance audits across periods Reply "ads" and I'll send the full repo. Must be following.

We just launched our first Claude Activation Bootcamp for business leaders - 14 people, CEOs to Operators, first session done, seven more to go. Excited to see and feel the buzz in the group. This one can't be delegated.

That doesn't happen by randomly opening Claude and firing off ad hoc questions. There's a difference between a tool you dabble with and infrastructure you actually leverage. The gap is a system.

Two business leaders tried to delegate their AI training to a subordinate this week. I put my foot down both times.

Take this storm seriously, folks. Moderate to major impacts are expected from the Central US through to the Northeast today through the weekend. - Hazardous to impossible driving conditions are expected. Avoid travel if at all possible. - Widespread closures and disruption to infrastructure may also occur. Stay weather aware and up to date on the latest alerts and weather conditions by following your local national weather service office on social media or checking weather.gov.

I built a Morning Brew-style daily newsletter that writes itself with AI (now at 10,000+ daily readers) (and I’m nuts for open-sourcing it) The AI system behind @therecapai clones how a human writer would function, but each step is packaged into an agentic workstream. The full automation handles: → Daily scrapping hundreds of reddit threads, hackernews, twitter posts, Google news API to build a massive data lake of 'daily AI news' → Dozens of custom prompts to pull the top daily stories from this data lake, write short breakdowns, & format the newsletter → Builds custom images based on each story with ChatGPT image generator This was 5 MONTHS of iterating and fine-tuning prompts to get the output and content to an extremely high quality state (no AI slop) and call me crazy, but I'm giving it away for free. I'll DM you the full n8n template that you can copy/paste and fine-tune to your use-case as well as a full hour long video breakdown explaining the build. Just Like & RT, follow me, and comment on this thread "NEWSLETTER" (must be following so I can dm you) Also you can see the actual contents of the newsletter for yourself with the link below, proof of the quality that is possible with AI. RIP legacy media companies 💀 AI is here.

Claude has 200k+ context window but forgets everything the moment you close the session. I built a plugin that fixes this. one file in your project, claude reads it on start, writes to it as you work. Next day it actually knows what happened yesterday. you can git commit the file too. Literally version control claude's brain. #claudecode I open sourced, here is the code github.com/memvid/claude-…

2010: People got rich with blogs 2015: People got rich with e-com 2020: People got rich with crypto & online courses 2026? It’ll be the people who invest in AI Digital Assets. I invest in eBooks. And here’s what my tool stack costs: • Amazon for research: $0 • ChatGPT for outlining: $0 • Claude for writing: $0 • Grammarly + Hemingway for editing: $0 • Canva + Ideogram for covers: $0 • Amazon KDP for publishing: $0 • Turnitin for plagiarism checks: $0 Total investment: $0 Cash flow potential: Unlimited (You can hire freelancers & use paid tools... it’s faster and the quality is better.) Recently, I made $31,000 in 29 days doing this. • You can begin today • Total cost: $0–$800 • No audience, no writing skills, no paid ads required • A “successful” book in our data earns $10K–$15K per year I’m giving away my entire system for free. It’s normally $179, but it’s free for the next 24 hours. Like this post and comment “System”, I’ll DM you the blueprint. (Must follow to receive.)

Gone down a 'Claude skills and projects' rabbit hole Some very powerful applications here didn't realise that skills can have subdirectories with reference files, templates and assets.

“AI tools mean non-technical founders can build anything!” No. They mean non-technical founders can generate code for anything. Building requires architecture, design thinking, security, debugging, deployment and a whole lot more. Yes, the easiest 5% has now been automated. Yes, if you have a system, you can fast-track your learning about the rest. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that AI on autopilot has suddenly taken care of everything.

@clairevo And this is in a company that has devs / data analysts to “put in a sprint” with Most small/medium businesses have no such luxury (not 3 years ago, and not now) So they still have no way of deriving high quality insights consistently. This is starting to change.

3 years ago if I had pinged someone and said "hey can you pull the last 90 days of churn, break it down by product area and promotion code, and give me a comprehensive analysis of freeform churn reasons" I would have been put in a sprint + gotten a crappy dashboard 3 weeks later. Now it's like 5 minutes of MCP-ing and I have a full retention plan ready to go to eng. And by eng, I mean more AI.
