Fulham fans, I was asked to name my all-time Fulham XI but with only one player from any one country. Tougher than I thought, and obvz not too many older players because they were almost all the same nationalities (though I put Davies in ahead of Saha to make up for it). Gutted to have to miss out Cohen/McBride/Dempsey/Moore/Mullery/George Best/Harry W/Finnan/Pahlinha/many others. Here's my attempt. Feel free to add and improve! @GeoffreyBoycott I seem to remember that in the winning Ashes series in Australia ’70 Knotty entered the Guinness Book of Records for not conceding a single bye in any test match. We need a proper wicket keeper again

I've thought so far this season that it would be pointless getting rid of Frank before the end of the season.
That half was so abysmal tactically and organisationally that I am begining to change my mind. Frank is completely out of his depth. We look as if we've just turned up for a pub match having never spoken to each other before

@gceccles @ChimeWhistle @AsleF They don’t help, but rosters and turn lengths need a proper study. I also have a pet hate regarding maximum length of turns starting before an AM book on causing a loading of hours into the late turns. People get tired whatever the time of day is around the roster

@ChimeWhistle In the light of this report I think that if I were still running a railway I'd want to be assured that formal Rest Day Working Agreements, signed jointly with @ASLEF, aren't part of the problem here.
And, yes, I know we rely on these to actually operate the timetable.

Drivers tell me that fatigue often isn't taken anywhere seriously enough - beyond lip service. Interestingly, it forms part of the argument in the letter from ASLEF to LNER - ref drivers being banned from catching trains at Stevenage.The operator would be wise to tread carefully.

@legsidelizzy The lesson here is if you’re going to spend a fortune on flights hotels and test match tickets make sure you don’t buy tickets for day 3 onwards. Save your money for a boat trip to The Barrier Reef or a few days at Uluru because there’ll be no cricket to watch

Deeply shocked by this weekend’s train attack. My thoughts are with those injured - especially the heroic rail worker now fighting for his life. Having worked with the rail industry, I know how vital split-second decisions are. The driver, staff & police likely saved lives.
