It's interesting to me that the RA-controlled Melbourne Rebels are running ads at AAMI Park tonight advertising tickets for the Rebels v British & Irish Lions match next year... 🧐 #REBvHIG @89combo @haribaldijones

Deliveroo dirver Caio Benicio was on his motorbike this afternoon when he saw a man with a knife attacking a young girl in Parnell Square. The 43-year-old Brazilian dismounted his bike, took off his helmet, and hit the attacker with it. Read more here: jrnl.ie/6231383t

@doodss1 @PlanetRugby Reiko skips three players and is clearly in front of the line where the ball lands. Thanks

@thedeadballarea MCG guarantees Australia the maximum revenue possible from the Melbourne test and they need the money. Not an ideal venue for Rugby but no worse than Docklands that had the test in 2013.

No Australia A seems a mistake on Australia's behalf. Worth also remembering NZ will be in a test series (like France?) so head line players may not be available so wonder of the real value of this. Otherwise tour looks great except for the 2nd test being at the MCG.

The 2025 Lions tour of Australia includes a Test at the 100k capacity MCG. The three-Test, nine match schedule will see the Lions play all five Super Rugby teams plus a combined Australia/NZ XV in Adelaide.

@Pick_DriveRugby Not sure why they needed a 9 to tap it and pass the ball to a runner at height. This gives the defence more time. Need the powerful runner to tap and dive low with support players driving him forward. Sheehan for Leinster and Ireland the example of how to do this best.

An interesting debate, scrums V quick taps V lineouts. I'm in favour of a well-worked quick-tap. Shift, the focus of the move away from the mark, concede the first phase and set up for a power runner 1:1 on second phase. Rebels' attempts were too one-dimensional. #REBvBRU
Nathan Williamson@NathJWilliamson

Well that was a fun game Both tens shined in a frantic clash that went down to the wire, although Rebels really should've considered the scrum over the quick taps late #REBvBRU

One for the coffee break Since 2000 I make it that there has been 5 fully capped English players that have played for one of the Irish provinces * 1 was part of an academy but may not have had a senior appearance Can you name them? Guess before you check the comments or Google
