Still a mixture of sick and pissed off from looking at the Varga injury, The fact a football player has to run over and take the stretcher from trained medics who can’t bother there arse to run onto the pitch is absolutely disgraceful! Those medics need to be sacked! #EURo2024

@andyframps Are you seriously given me a lecture on being a doctor during a situation like this? I don’t care if you have a phd in anything, the main thing is if the player will be ok or not

@xox_Isla_xox @AnfieldNews367 Did you see how long after the stretcher got there it took to get him on it? The most important thing was stabilising him on the pitch, not getting him off

@andyframps @AnfieldNews367 the reaction time means everything as the quicker they get to him with the stretcher the quicker they can get him proper medical attention which can make all the difference. it’s not only ridiculous but unprofessional how casually they were strolling across the pitch to get him

@AnfieldNews367 Actually not true. You could keep his airway open whilst lying he was lying on his back without risking further injury to his neck. The only benefit to rolling him is if he was vomiting

@andyframps Did you also see how they reacted quickly to turn the player onto his side? It makes all the difference
