Another completed @DuraEdge amendment and laser grade. 1st picture was in fall 2 days after .3” of rain. Second pic is 1/2 a day after 1.75” of rain. Is laser grading worth it? Let these speak for themselves. Touch up and roll the following day. @AndyOmmen1

24 Days of Christmas - Day 20 (Field Safety Pt 2) Natural surfaces excel in sports. Natural grass stays @ ambient air temps or cooler, reducing heat risks. Other surfaces can be 50-60+ degrees hotter, causing cramping, scalding, dehydration, and heat exhaustion/stroke.

"24 Days of Christmas" Day 13 Infield capping. Hats off to Villa Grove softball completely renovating their softball facility. We removed old material and brought in 300 tons of quality infield mix from @DuraEdge. New field was layered in & re-graded to provide positive drainage

This renovation converted a little league field with a very pronounced outfield lip into a high school softball field. Fun project!

"24 Days of Christmas" Day - 10 Many baseball & softball fields commonly get a "lip" or build up of material around the grass edge of the infield. Removing this lip will allow for water flow off the surface and a safe transition for the athletes when moving from dirt to grass.
