@andyrosenberger Thanks for reading. For sure idealistic. Maybe, but I'm mostly focused on a specific consolidation trend. I don't think that necessarily implies 'this must have been capitalism that did this' (i.e. the everything bad must be capitalism fallacy).

@andyflattery Andy, I found this insightful, even moving. I fear it’s maybe pejoratively idealistic; do you think that at some level this view could be seen as anti-capitalist, and would you reject or lean into that?

@MikePierce32 Yeah, it’s probably unavoidable at this point. It’s just frustrating that every game ends with “should this have been a (holding, PI, offsides, etc). Feels like the game has really devolved into teams using the rules to their advantage. Not true in the targeting case, but often.

@andyrosenberger Short answer, no. Problem in the gray area of targeting. And, when it occurs at most pivotal moment of the game, the controversy is unavoidable

It’s so lame to get on here and see everyone calling for targeting. I’m sure it was the right call but do we really want sports to be an endless litigation over what call should have been made instead of just watching the actual sport be played.

@ArnoldtheThird I’m concerned but they also haven’t treated him well this year. Contract dispute into injury 1 come back too soon then injury 2. Shouldn’t have played today, needs a clear head and obviously doesn’t have that

Congrats! My only advice is don’t listen to any advice. Every parent’s journey is different. What works for one person’s kid may be wildly wrong for yours. Best part is figuring it out as you go. Anyone who tries to be an expert in parenting is probably overcompensating

@dieworkwear What about something more breathable? I fully understand how basic I am in a Q zip, but there is nothing better for going from a cold coffee shop to a hot and crowded conference room to a brisk walk back to my hotel. Millar with a Collars and Co underneath isn’t sexy but it works
