Stop treating our liberation like a gamble where only we have something to lose.

@moorehn If you live in a great public school district send your kids there. They will learn life skills and get exposure that the cocoon of private schools won't provide. If you live in a mediocre or bad district, by all means spend the money on private.

This is a common, very bourgeois error about the purpose of private school. The purpose of private school is not academic achievement. It is to establish a child within a social network of contacts that will help their career and marriage prospects for life.
