Lmfao BUT he can’t compete with Chinese companies so free market Musk will lobby the federal government to keep increasing tariffs so the average American citizen will never be able to generate their own electricity without going into tens of thousands of dollars worth of debt to him first

@sodjthe3rd @AnthonyGSupreme It’s all of the most horrific components of lowest common denominator ‘pop’ music but instead of marketing by volume it instead markets itself on our darkest left over evolutionary bio chemistry A song like this was never meant to be heard by humans

I think your major issue in how you keep just not understanding basic political shit is because you conflate fiscal policy’s with social policy’s. When you say conservative yeah in social sense sure. But the “conservative” bs you’re talking has nothing to do with fiscally left policy platforms.

To return to this, for all the current heat around factional squabbling what I think is striking is that both “the left” and “the establishment” agree that you’d need to be more conservative to compete on the Plains and in the Deep South and there’s consensus on not trying.
Matthew Yglesias@mattyglesias

I am supportive of all these independent plays, but given the ninety-seven layers of coordination-without-coordinating it requires to pay off I really think it would be simpler to just broaden the tent and bring back Democrats with Baucus/Landrieu/Nelson-style ideologies.

Lmao guy if that’s what you believe went down then we’re doomed. The neoliberal corporate dems have done everything in their power to gut the federal governments capacity to be able to make things better. Lmao everything you mentioned except for ADA & ACA was passed by new deal era social democrats to which the liberal sell outs opposed. They can take credit now for what the keyensians achieved but the reality is the neoliberal corporate shills have single handedly done more to destroy the country than arguable the republicans by being their controlled opposition. You have to read a book buddy - there’s no excuse to have this little of an idea of what you’re talking about. Your politicians have gutted and destroyed unions, gutted welfare, committed to endless was etc. Meanwhile the DSA candidates are literally just fighting for your tax dollars to come back home and benefit you. They’re fighting for proper wage compensation, workers rights, socialized health care - all things you and I benefit from. While their opposition is running on “ahh it’s too complicated” not because it actually is, but because their corporate donors will stop funding them if their taxes go up.

The GOP is running ads to prop up my opponent. And not only that - Mike Rogers said it the other day: If Abdul wins, Mike would be in ‘good shape’ to beat him. Folks, I’m the strongest candidate in this race. The GOP is afraid to face me because they know I’m going to win.

El-Sayed has been held the advantage for months and looks strong going into next week’s primary. Regardless, touting out of state endorsements while omitting Stevens endorsements from the outgoing MI senator, a former MI governor, and the current MI governor is…a bit silly.

Yeah they need to be emphasizing every chance they get the fact that socialism in America is not some new phenomenon. Whether it be the sewer socialists from Wisconsin in the late 1800’s early 1900’s, La Guardia who’s consistently ranked best mayor in New York City’s history being a socialist, arresting socialist Eugene Deb’s for being opposed to WWI while he was running for president, Coal Creek Wars, Fred Hampton being assisted by the FBI, August Willich the communist general during the Civil War. This is all shit they desperately try to hide in the name of capital accumulation.

Abdul, we were both on the ballot in 2018. I was capable of winning my competitive primary and general election. You lost. You lost by over twenty points to Gretchen Whitmer and you will lose to Mike Rogers by talking like this. Everyone in America understands you want to blame all of your problems on Jewish Americans. But buddy, let me be very clear, I will lower the costs of groceries, ban stock trading for elected officials, stop Trump's abuses of power, and protect Michigan manufacturing. And you’ll just be a celebrity whining and writing books to get even richer. You’re part of the complainer class, looking for their next book or podcast deal. Bro, I just want to work for Michigan.

Guy they hold the most US treasury bonds in the world. That $40T worth of debt we have - because we spend money we don’t have without ever raising taxes to be able to afford it - we’re able to do that in part because foreign nations buy our bonds. Japan is facing an inflation crisis. In order to fix it they will start dumping their US bonds holdings. When they do that the US itself will face an inflation/interest rate crisis the likes the world has never seen before. This entire situation is happening because the strait of Hormuz is closed from the Iran war that Trump started. Almost all of asias oil and gas comes from straight of Hormuz. All their exports required to make their country’s economy function properly relys on Diesel. Since they have no diesel coming in they have no way to export goods. If the have no way to sell goods the economy shuts down. When their economy shuts down they will sell US bonds. When US bonds are sold interest rates and inflation will go up in America. This entire thing was a very predictable apocalyptic situation
