On May 29, Popular Democracy (@popdemoc) abruptly announced a massive restructuring, including the lay off of 21 workers, effective mid-July. Twelve laid-off staff belong to our union, including some of Popular Democracy’s most experienced and longtime staff members.

These tariffs protected jobs, revived manufacturing, and forced cheaters like China to pay up. Now globalists win, factories investments may reverse, and American workers lose again. I’ve seen the horrific video of another fatal ICE shooting. It’s clear that ICE agents are doing more harm than good in Minneapolis. Time for reforms. They aren’t effectively doing their jobs or keeping Americans safe – they are endangering people.
