🚨 @FTMO_com JUST BOUGHT @OANDA - PROP INDUSTRY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME 🚨
🤯This is the BIGGEST POWER MOVE in trading history.
A prop firm just acquired one of the largest brokers in the world 💪
Brokers usually buy prop firms—not the other way around. This is UNPRECEDENTED.
Here’s why this changes EVERYTHING 🧵👇

Replies are quite concerning and can only mean one of two things:
1) We have had a huge influx of new people in the past 2.5 years
2) Everyone is retarded

What’s your plan after this crypto bull run ends? I will personally sell into stablecoins, and then put my stablecoins into this protocol called Anchor which pays 20% APY. Make $100k. Put it in Anchor. Earn $20k/year passively. More than enough to live off of. #investing

Here's your REAL enemy in trading...
And trust me, after 5+ years in the markets, it's NOT what you think.
It's not the market.
It's not other traders.
It's the person staring back at you in the mirror.
I've watched countless accounts get DESTROYED. The pattern?
Fear and Greed hijacking the rational mind.
Want to win? Master your psychology FIRST.
Everything else falls into place.
Simple. Not easy.

Just some honest market thoughts and personal experiences I’ve had in 2024
>a time does come when you have to consider cutting a bag
>it doesn’t matter how much you researched, how much you care
If it’s not moving
Not getting love
No one gives a fuck
>You have to make the decision to cut it and move into stronger narratives
>This doesn’t have to be a permenant move
>but I really see a lot of guys holding onto projects that have gone no where for months and sometimes years
>Ofcourse every situation is different
>Things to consider…
-Experience
-Capital
-Time
-The actual assets themselves
-what you’re considering moving into
-How much profit/loss you’re in
>I’ve cut heaps of bags past year that I researched and truly believed in
Anything can happen
>Narrative dies to something new
>Tokenomics can fail
>Protocol failure
>Team synergy/vision fails
>Funding runs out
>Marketing and branding is shit
>community becomes toxic
If you’re seeing 2,3,4 of these things happening imo it’s time to cut
>I cut big bags like LYX, ALPH, DUSK, KUJI, QUBIC, DNX that I truly believed in
check the charts…
I should of cut QUIL more KAS (temporary) and so on
Sideways or down for months and months…
As an active investor it’s my job to figure out when to cut and rotate
>Guys will tell you not to rotate and sometimes it’s true - but when something so blatantly obvious reveals itself - you have to seriously consider it, I took a risk on ai16zdao and Aixbt at 30m mc and yeah back then it was very uncertain - in hindsight seemed like an easy move - it wasn’t
>i moved a lot into base - we were extremely early there, a lot into SOL trenches rotated into new mid caps around AI/COMPUTE/DATA narratives like GRASS, PEAQ, GOAT and so on
>I even move a fair chunk into new lower cap DePIN projects like LOOPIN and a few others for more gains regarding AI narratives
>I moved from 3-5b mc down to new 300m mc coins - TAO was the only high cap I didn’t touch - keep in mind I rode these up from the bear 🐻
>I feel good about my decisions…for now - I will monitor everything closely and if I need to move back, I will
But I think the time for rotation had revealed itself
>by no means am I suggesting this is easy - it’s hard to sell high conviction plays, it’s hard to accept you might of been wrong
It’s hard to come up with a new plan
When you have had a few losses you can start to doubt yourself and lose momentum
But the goal is to build capital
The goal is to build capital !!!!
>Even on chain I made some bad decisions - I moved a lot into realis that’s been down only (I’m in a position to hold but if I wasn’t it would be gone by now until the time is right)
Why would I do that when I could of put even more into something more solid like ARC - my own ego got in the way with that one because I liked the idea of it
(It could do well but way more speculative atm)
>I think this is why a lot of previous cyclers are struggling in this cycle, they think they know what’s going to happen but this one’s been a little different
>You have to adapt faster and faster
>it’s actually almost easier to admit or pretend you know nothing
>Emotionally you’re stronger but knowledge wise it can feel like you’re back at square one - with the exception of navigating on chain
Anyway just some thoughts on my experiences past months
Lots of mistakes, lots of wins forever a student
