The Youth Employment Protection Law states that under 18s CANNOT work after 8pm in Germany.
There is an exception for athletes, but the activities must be wrapped up by 11pm. Therefore, Bayern have applied for a special permit, because if the match takes a bit longer due to interruptions (as well as the technical possibility that the match goes to extra time), then Bayern would have a problem.
The permit is expected to be approved, but he would then need to get the day off on Thursday because the law then requires a minimum of 14 hours of rest.
