There is something wrong with the basic conception of the role of government.
It tax rates are higher than almost any other in the past.
It raises more revenue than any other government.
It borrows more per year than any other government.
And it still can't even cover consumptive spending.

1) The US already collects FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS OF TAX REVENUE A YEAR. The idea that you need to collect even more taxes — when you parasites already confiscate the equivalent of Elon’s entire net worth five times over, every year — is lunacy. Stop wasting billions of dollars a month of stupid bullshit. How about that for an idea?
2) We do not need more children in taxpayer funded daycare centers. Our goal should be precisely the opposite of that. We need more women at home raising their kids.

Neither of my grandfathers nor their siblings had birth certificates until WWII. One of my great-uncles changed his first name when he enlisted because he never liked it. He later became an officer who flew in WWII, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam. He died two years ago at the age of 101.

Since roughly 2010 a large migration of predominately white, middle class, suburban college educated types have descended into urban cities that were cleaned up btw 1994-2010 by reform moderates like Giuliani. Without knowing it, they inherited a safer and more prosperous city. Many from this cohort use their DSA/lefty politics and canvass for these POC candidates as a way to rationalize their presence in the cities and believe that this kind of politics can correct the inherent asymmetry between their smart little NPR life and the Puerto Rican teens selling weed and pressed pills down the street. Alas, their savior politics actually makes things worse for these people.

CNN: CNN independently took the sample of water and consulted with the pool store that regularly tests water to help read the results. It showed phosphate levels far higher than what is recommended to keep algae at bay, based on estimates for a pool that holds 6.5 million gallons of water. “If there's already some phosphate fertilizer in the water, that's really opportunistic, especially for the blue green algae that can fix nitrogen. So they are having a field day out here.”
