@LibraryFolklore @gridcustomersuk @Localgiving What is the game with the little green ghost figures? Looks like a spooky Cluedo!
English

Another different type of event this week at our Friday evening free Warm Winter offering, funded by @gridcustomersuk and @Localgiving #GridCommunityFund as the young and young at heart came together in our warm space for an evening learning new to play new games together

@mippy @TremendaoNeil Do you need another invite Gillian? I can DM you if so.
English

@ThePegWitch I am not really on Twitter anymore other than to pass out Bluesky codes, but I wanted to post to say I am thinking of you. It sounds horribly stressful - she will be well soon, I am certain. Poor love.

@ClivePower @SaveLeaMarshes @StopMSGSphere Dude, the dark bits are the tracks. Best not to go on those. The rest of Stratford is plenty light.
English

@SaveLeaMarshes @StopMSGSphere A light in the enveloping darkness. Imagine if more was lit up, people were out enjoying an event in Stratford and the Lea had gone the way of the Fleet river in being something you did not know about as you moved around an expanded real London

The fact Clive's quoting a GB News 'journo' as if it's a true depiction of the Mayor's rejection reasons says it all.
Both their tweets are deeply disingenuous.
London is not dark at night & therefore Khan cannot, & did not, say it should 'remain dark'.
No lights have gone out
CLIVE POWER@ClivePower
"Think of London, a small city. It's dark.." sang the Talking Heads. Oddly I thought but I didn't realise it was a prediction. As says the journo (below), 'Mayor vetoed the Stratford MSG Sphere "on the grounds that London should remain dark at night.'" The lights are going out.

@jourdemayne @ForteanLondon Thought this one was fascinating… that evidence was so thin, and the last known rituals happened at the turn of the 19/20th centuries - got my suspicious eye turned on the overly imaginative 18th and 19th century folk…

Dr. Helen Frisby tells us about the fascinating folklore behind ritual sin-eating at @ForteanLondon 's 'Haunted Landscape' event.

It's me ... and an optimistic story of a golden armoured ghost in this, um, burial mound... #Wiltshire #hauntedlandscape ... I know it's not a burial mound...

@stellacreasy Decorations visible mean it’s ok to knock, no decorations no knock. Generally it starts around 5.30pm, is at peak between 6-7pm, and starts quieting by 8pm.
English

Love seeing all the Halloween decorations in Walthamstow (especially fundraising ones!) and have had a few people asking how they either show it’s ok to call at their house on Tuesday or it’s not - Walthamstow let me know the etiquette on your road and also timings! #spookyStow

@Lostone1980 @danny_robins @BBCTwo @BBCiPlayer The jump scares are getting more than annoying. The stories are great. The sceptics and the believers are great (although I find the black and white split of ‘believes’ and ‘doesn’t’ frustrating.)… but the jump scares are so cheap I hate them.

@whiteryan30 @LaytonWilliams Dear Lord, Ryan. Go touch some grass already.
English

@LaytonWilliams You're a total and utter DISGRACE to this show! You're a cheat! YOU'RE A TRAINER DANCER! Does it feel good? Cheating your way to win? #Strictly #GetLaytonOut
