Before founding Pier39.ai, I led AI products at @amazon & @awscloud for 4+ years. Spent countless hours obsessing over how to make shopping more intuitive and valuable for millions of customers. One insight always stuck: The magic happens after the purchase. 🛍️📷

We built an AI feature for 3 months. Nobody asked for it. In fact, when we pitched it to our partners, they said: "That's cool, but do we really need it?" Now it's our most valuable feature. Here's what happened: BEFORE: We were manually uploading a few versions of ad creatives for each advertiser. Static approach, a few versions, A/B test, see which ones perform better and double down. Like most Ad platforms do. Then someone on the team said: "What if we generated different versions for different people?" Not A/B testing or "headline swap" different. Actually different. Same offer. Different persona. Different creative. Different messaging. e.g., A sports fan sees a Paramount+ ad about live sports. A parent sees a Paramount+ ad about kids' content. A foodie sees a Paramount+ ad about cooking shows. All with messaging that resonate with THEM! We built it. Tested it against our standard creatives. 19% performance improvement! Wait. We weren't expecting THAT much lift. So we dug deeper to understand why. The AI wasn't just swapping images and copy based on personas we defined. It was discovering MESSAGE-TO-PERSONA patterns we hadn't explicitly programmed. Athleisure buyers? Urgency-driven messaging outperformed by 2.3x. Home goods buyers? Value framing converted better. Certain beauty product buyers? Social proof worked way better. We knew personas mattered. We didn't know the CREATIVE + MESSAGING patterns would be this distinct. The AI found signal in the noise at a scale we couldn't manually test. Across millions of impressions, thousands of variations, dozens of personas, it learned what works for who. So here is my conclusion: The best AI features aren't the ones customers ask for. They're the ones that solve problems customers didn't know they had. Nobody asked for "persona-matched generative ad creative." from us. They asked for "better performance." We just used AI to get there in a way they didn't expect. Now when we pitch, we don't lead with "we use AI." We lead with "we improve performance by 19%." The AI is how. The performance is why. DEMO of Persona-Matched Ad Creatives coming soon 🚀 pier39.ai

I just vibe coded a Meta Ads creative analytics tool in Claude Code 🤯 It syncs your ad accounts, AI-analyzes every creative, and tells you exactly what's working, what's not, and WHY. Built 100% in Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who are tired of staring at Meta Ads Manager trying to figure out WHY an ad is working or not. Here's the problem: Meta gives you the data. Spend, ROAS, CTR, hook rate. But it never tells you WHY an ad is performing or what to do about it. You're left manually watching videos, guessing at angles, and making gut-call decisions on what to iterate. This tool solves it: → Connect your Meta ad accounts → AI watches every video and analyzes every static → Auto-labels each ad by asset type, messaging angle, hook tactic, and funnel stage → Win rate analysis broken down by every category → Kill/scale recommendations segmented by TOF, MOF, and BOF → AI-generated iteration recommendations for every underperforming ad No manual video watching. No guessing at what's working. No spreadsheets to track creative performance. What you get: - Full creative analytics dashboard - AI classification on every ad - Iteration priorities for ads with real spend behind them - Weekly reports with top/bottom performers and AI insights I recorded a full walkthrough showing exactly how this works and what every feature does, including ALL the prompts I used so you can build it yourself. Want access to all the prompts for free? > Like this post > Comment "META" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

Pier39.ai is me applying everything I've learned to reimagine the "Thank you" screen. Excited for what's next, and grateful for the journey from AWS to here.
