Got a mac mini for clawdbot. Had a lot of fun setting this up today. Instead of access to my accounts, I gave it: ✅ its own apple account for messages ✅ its own gmail to sign up for stuff ✅ its own github to push code

@mitchellh fwiw, i've found that Cat5e can usually still handle multigig just fine in many residential situations (though maybe your residence is large enough that this doesn't apply to you 😅)

When I moved into my house in 2018, fiber wasn't even here and I got 100Mbps cable for $80/mo. In 2020 fiber become available and I got 500Mbps for $60/mo and been on that since. I just checked to see what's up and 2Gbps is now $60/month and I can get 7Gbps for $109/mo. Wtf! I haven't upgraded my networking equipment since 2018 and my house is unfortunately Cat5e so I can only support up to 1Gbps at the wire level. I'm pretty sure my switch/router can handle at least 1Gbps but I know for sure my APs are stuck at a lower number. That's all ignoring the wiring limitations. I'm actually in the middle of a remodel now (hence why I was looking) and we're rewiring the whole house plus replacing all the networking equipment to support 10Gbps but holy shit I didn't even know these types of speeds were available residentially right now.

do people still use ChatGPT Atlas? When Perplexity Comet came out lots of people were posting fun use cases, I haven't seen a single one for Atlas. I couldn't get it in my flow because it doesn't support multiple profiles.
