I cannot get over how wild this season has been from the beginning, but here we are! It’s Closing Day for the ski area (unless tomorrow’s storm delivers a miracle and it can reopen for the weekend). Here’s to next year… and maybe not talking about this one again 😂

@BobbyWilson1004 The TSA Precheck line was about 2 hours this morning in Atlanta. Airport staff were all incredibly helpful and so friendly which made a huge difference to everyone in line. ICE agents were there leaning against a rail.

Maybe the scared liberals will stay home and make it less cumbersome for normal people…

@Wisdom4Growth The problem isn’t outsiders vs locals. it’s asymmetry of power. When one entity controls the economic engine and can afford to shut it down, the costs fall on workers and small businesses who didn’t choose the fight.

@annatelluride The core problem that no one is talking about with Telluride strike is that one of the parties isn’t from there. Letting outsiders control your town is a recipe for failure. Ski towns need to treat the hills as an asset to be used for the locals not foreign interests.

So they can either put them in the CFP and get one game, or put someone else in who will get good ratings and put ND in a bowl (also on ESPN). So what is higher numbers for ESPN...one big game or two?

Georgia won 29 straight games, lost by 3 on a bad call to Bama in the SEC title, got dropped from 1 to 6, and instead of bitching and moaning about refs and committees they went and laid a 63-3 beat down on FSU in a game where all of their healthy draftable players played Look where UGA is now and tell me it didn’t matter. How you do anything is how you do everything. If your core program traits only matter when things go your way then they don’t actually matter. Notre Dame just told their players it’s okay to quit when things don’t go your way. I think it will have negative consequences on the immediate future of the program
