A Democratic Senator was asked today on MSNBC..Can Joe Biden do the job? The Senator answered.. The job of the President, Yes he can but I don’t think he can campaign well. News F..ing Flash I don’t care how well he campaigns, he has already beat his opponent and done a great job. I care that Joe Biden has already proven he can and will continue to do exceptionally well. I care that Women want their rights restored, I care that sane people want a ban on assault rifles, I care that Social Security & Medicare as well as Affordable Healthcare is imperative, these are all things Joe wants for this Country, for us as Americans. I care that Joe Biden believes in climate change, I care that Joe Biden cares about Veterans, I care that Joe Biden cares about NATO. I care that Joe Biden has a Heart and more importantly a soul unlike his opponent. I voted for Joe Biden once and will gladly be voting for him again and to those of you who think in any way it’s smart to doubt your candidate with a proven track record at this point in the game, then you are part of the problem.

Vietnam Vets are suing the Trump over his ridiculous arch, in which is another $100 MILLION of our tax money. In this video you can see how his arch would block the view of our most hollowed burial grounds. When asked who the arch is for, he answered, “me”. STOP THE ARCH!

Happening now — a group protesting the Triumphal Arch planned for Memorial Circle, near the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery.

Joe Scarborough on ICE internment camps: “100 men jammed into one room, no guards that will actually come in there, they’re sharing maybe one or two filthy backed up toilets. It’s unbelievable. I know the constitution doesn’t mean much to you if you’re in the cult. Those constitutional rights are being torn to shreds every single day inside of these internment camps and it’s time that something be done”

This bill needs be to be passed ASAP. To prevent dishonest, deceitful billionaires from buying elections. And if the election meddling billionaire is an immigrant — investigate, prosecute, denaturalize and deport him back to wherever the hell he came from.

🚨 do you understand what happened to Stephen Colbert.. 24 hours after his final Late Show, Colbert hijacked a tiny public access channel in Monroe, Michigan with Jack White, Eminem, Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi. Now Paramount - the company that just cancelled his show - is mass-blocking every reupload worldwide via Content ID. And the deeper you dig, the worse it looks: - The finale pulled 6.74M viewers - a weeknight record over 11 years - Eminem cameoed as "Marshall, the fire marshal" to greenlight torching the set - The same day Trump posted an AI video of throwing Colbert into a dumpster, Colbert aired footage of himself burning a real one - Mayday Network and verified journalist Matthew Keys both got blocked globally - for sharing a community access show Paramount cancelled his show to silence him. Instead they handed him a Streisand-effect comeback 10x bigger than the show ever was.
Matthew Keys@MatthewKeysLive

Paramount is apparently trying to suppress copies of "Only in Monroe" from appearing on other social platforms by filing frivolous copyright notices, even though the show was produced by a public access TV channel and doesn't use their intellectual property...

I saw chaos inside and outside of the ICE detention center Delaney Hall today. Detainees protesting the lack of due process, the disgusting food and poor treatment while their families and advocates stood outside calling for help. Instead of engaging with me and others about the poor conditions, ICE sent in an armored vehicle and a line of armed agents that only poured gasoline on the fire. Civilians were tackled and restrained, and agents fired pepper balls and spray into the crowd. This is more of the same lawlessness we’ve seen elsewhere around the country.

Our country deserves accountability. Our country deserves the humane treatment of every person here. In fact, our Constitution demands this. What I witnessed and experienced today was shameful. Delaney Hall is a failure; it’s this administration’s failure. The only way to make this right for our communities is to shut it down and make sure the failures we’ve seen never happen again.

Generation after generation, men and women put on the uniform knowing the risk — and went anyway knowing they might not come home. Knowing their families would carry that for the rest of their lives. To the families still carrying that weight — I see you. The pain doesn’t go away, but neither does the pride. Freedom has never been guaranteed. It has to be earned, defended, and sometimes paid for in the hardest way imaginable. Today on Memorial Day, we stop, we slow down, and we remember those who did. We honor them. We thank them. And we work hard to live up to what they died for. Keep the democracy they believed in worth believing in. That is the ultimate tribute for their sacrifice.

On Memorial Day, let us pause to remember and honor the brave women and men who made the ultimate sacrifice so we could live our lives in peace and possibility. Today we also honor the families they left behind whose hearts still carry the weight of absence.

DISGRACEFUL: ICE agents tear-gassed U.S. Senator Andy Kim at Delaney Hall detention facility in NJ today! Kim was supporting hunger-striking detainees protesting spoiled food, no medical care & extreme heat when federal agents unleashed tear gas & pepper spray. Kim struggled to breathe & injured his hand in the chaos.

In the summer of 2018, Gary Sinise’s life changed in an instant. His wife, Moira, received a devastating diagnosis: Stage III breast cancer. Just two months later came another heartbreaking blow. His son Mac, only 28 years old, was diagnosed with chordoma, an extremely rare and aggressive bone cancer for which there is no definitive cure. From that moment on, everything else faded into the background. The world knows Gary Sinise as Lieutenant Dan from Forrest Gump, but his family saw a different man: a husband and father who set aside his career, the spotlight, and professional success to simply be present. For five and a half years, Gary stood by his son’s side every single day, facing a disease that even medical experts struggled to fully understand. Chordoma affects only a handful of people each year. Finding specialists, exploring treatment options, and holding on to even the smallest glimmer of hope became a full-time mission. Gary never hesitated. Traveling and working as he once had no longer seemed important. His priorities had changed. Moira fought with remarkable courage—and she survived. Her cancer eventually went into remission. For Mac, however, the journey was long, painful, and often cruel. Yet even as his body grew weaker, he never stopped thinking about others. He worked with the foundation his father had established, helping veterans and their families, telling stories, and giving a voice to those who are often overlooked. He found the strength to create, record music, and leave his mark on the world while continuing to battle his illness every day. He never stopped giving, even when he was the one who needed so much. On January 5, 2024, Mac passed away. He was only 33 years old. Gary later spoke about that loss with simple, unfiltered honesty. His words carried weight because they came from a place of profound truth. He described a grief that cannot be explained—only endured. A void that changes everything. A heart that remains broken. And he shared something that stays with you: since losing his son, he hugs his daughters more tightly and holds them longer. Because when life takes something so precious from you, you begin to understand what truly matters. Gary continues the work of his foundation. He continues doing what Mac loved. It is his way of keeping his son’s memory alive, of transforming pain into something that can still help others. On screen, he portrayed a man wounded by war. In real life, he faced an even greater challenge: standing beside the people he loved when everything was falling apart, without the comfort of a scripted ending or a final heroic scene. That is a different kind of strength. Quieter. More profound. More real. Today, hold the people you love a little tighter. Don’t wait. Don’t put it off. Life can change without warning. And in the end, what truly remains is the love we were able to give. Perhaps that is our greatest legacy: the ability to stay present for one another, even when everything seems lost.
