This isn’t accurate. You don’t have enough ground crew. In fact, there’s a plane that landed nearly 90 minutes ago still sitting out on the taxiway waiting for a gate - because you don’t have ground crew. This isn’t a weather-related delay. This is an Ops meltdown.

What’s weirder about this: they’re showing the plane as arrived as of 10:27pm, but they’re still out on the tarmac (?)

@USDOT My fiance is stranded on the tarmac at DFW - delayed 2+hrs out of JFK, now sitting on the tarmac without a gate for the past hour+ at DFW. @AmericanAir is blaming weather, but looks more like a loophole in the tarmac delay regs. Can you help?

@DIRECTV and @UverseGuru - a local contract dispute causes the DFW metroplex to find every reason to not ever engage with you. You’re putting small businesses at risk; you’re alienating college football fans of all followings. Amazing that this is permitted in the 21st century.

Here’s the kicker: ongoing maintenance issue with this aircraft means THREE DAYS where the interior of the cabin can’t cool down. Amazing to witness, truly. Is @AmericanAir too big to handle the basic logistics for its fleet?

Remember when @AmericanAir was for business travel? The days when you’d know you’d get to your destination on time, ready to work, and excited to be there? Those were the days. Today: delayed fifteen minutes at a time for the past three hours due to an ongoing mx issue.

Despite the circumstances, this has been the best service I’ve seen and received from the crew in a long, long, long time. They’re true professionals, even in extenuating circumstances.

Hey @AmericanAir — I’m sure you’re dealing with grumpy folks due to weather at DFW, but I must commend our crew on Flight 2297 from BOS (diverted to TUL) - they’ve been patient, kind, and awesome despite their long day today. What can we do to ensure they’re fully recognized?

My university just announced that it’s dumping Blackboard, and there was much rejoicing. Why is Blackboard universally reviled? There’s a standard story of why "enterprise software" sucks. If you’ll bear with me, I think this is best appreciated by talking about… baby clothes!
