A new proposal in Ohio would let the state and utility companies take private property to build data center infrastructure. The proposal from the powerful Ohio Business Roundtable would even let land be taken from people before the owner gets paid. A document obtained by the Ohio Capital Journal shows the Ohio Business Roundtable recommending that lawmakers change eminent domain law so that it includes "infrastructure projects," a category broad enough to include data centers and projects that power them. ohiocapitaljournal.com/2026/06/10/ohi…

Every parent in a “diverse” public school knows the only way to assure the best classroom experience is to have your child identified as gifted and hopefully segregated from students who can’t adapt to classroom expectations.

@MacSherbert @educator4ever36 Absolutely. Mine start DE their sophomore year. My ‘26 grad had enough credits to earn her AA before graduation. She’ll start college as a junior. Because she was taking outside classes she was also able to leave HS midday to work and then come back for her 1 afternoon class.

@anneski76 @educator4ever36 That’d be pretty nice. Then in HA school they can take more dual enrollment classes or spend senior doing internships. We get Algebra 1 as the lone 8th grade HS class.

@MacSherbert @educator4ever36 In our small public district being identified as gifted means you can start HS classes in 8th grade. My kids all had HS transcripts before they left middle school.

@educator4ever36 I question how advanced it is when you have a 7th grader placed in advanced math that according to progress monitoring is on a 4th grade level. But no worries kid got to go the growth party at the end of the year.

@anneski76 @RachelCoyleOhio They don't control most of our major cities and haven't for a very long time. Our so-called Republicans here in Ohio are just that RINOS. If we had real representation here, we wouldn't have the 2nd largest somalian population. We wouldn't have had billions in fraud.

What part of President Trump’s call does Ohio’s legislature not understand? SJR 10, a constitutional Voter ID resolution FAILS on the very first objective below. Would the President approve of the resolution if he KNEW it did not include photo ID for mail ballots? Amend it!

@marcellstrbich Before you claim a need to alter the constitution of ohio, prove to me why we need it. Prove widespread mail in fraud in a state that has been controlled by the GOP for 30 years. Show me arrests and convictions. If no one can prove it, it’s not grounds for an amendment.

As a Ohio Voter, would you support a constitutional Voter ID amendment like the SIMPLE & STRONG version below that requires State-issued photo ID for ALL voting methods and ensures photo identification for voting is ONLY issued to U.S. citizens displaying citizenship on the ID?

@Principal_Jon My kids still read all of that and more in public school. The problem is that you chose the wrong school, not public schools in general. They learned cursive, phonics and learned much more difficult material in math/science classes than I ever did in my private schools.

Why do people reverse into parking spaces? At first it was one or two misdirected fools, now it's spreading like a disease. It makes no sense. You are only making it so much harder for yourself, and everyone hates you as you block the road trying to get into the space.

@Ehnree @desk_nam @hatsonwigs This is why education is important. HPV can cause multiple cancers in men and women. It can be transmitted orally or sexually, and by gay, straight or bi people. It’s a virus that really can affect anyone. The cervical cancer is only one example.

@Ehnree @desk_nam @hatsonwigs Prevention of cervical cancer sounds like a good reason to get one. It’s too bad they didn’t tell you that preventing the HPV infection is the very thing that helps protect you from cancer. At least as an adult you can now make a more informed choice for yourself.

I want to be sure people understand: There was already a truly non-partisan 250th anniversary committee called America 250 and what Trump did was create his own maga version called Freedom 250.
