What’s crazy is you could legitimately wear a white cotton tee and some denim that ~actually~ fits you and look better than 99.9% of the male population. The key is good shoes. Accessories. (Hat, belt, sunglasses, chain, watch, bracelet.) And wearing quality clothing that fits.

Lena Dunham has an idea for a “Girls” movie. She also has a group chat with the original cast, in which they discuss reuniting when the hit HBO drama is “appropriately missed": “I would love to do it, and I have to say, I got a little plot line in my brain. I do. It’s impossible not to think about where they are now. I will text with–I have a new chain with the girls and Andrew [Rannells] called ‘Survivors of the Crackcident.’ Jemima [Kirke] will pop in with the best take on like, ‘Jess is really into RFK Jr.’ and you’re like, ‘Of course she is. Of course she is.’ She does not want anyone getting vaccines. She is pissed.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/l…

Avis here with something on my mind I want to share for you other wives out there to think about. Yesterday I was talking with a younger friend of mine who is in her late 30s about fitness and checking in on her. What she said floored me. She said, “I’m just gonna be fat.” She’s in a long-term marriage, a SAHM with two kids, and has been gaining weight since having kids. Now she weighs more than she did even when pregnant. We developed a plan together 6 months ago to help her improve her fitness and lose weight. We looked at all her “roadblocks” and worked through them. Her husband supports her with resources, and she said, “I’m just gonna be fat.” This is unacceptable and inexcusable. Why is this the attitude your husband deserves when he provides you with the resources? How would she feel if he said, “I’m just gonna be broke and homeless”? She is an amazing mom, but she’s lost the plot of marriage. And why? Because changing habits takes effort. It’s not hard, but it requires change and being a little uncomfortable. But I imagine going to bed at night knowing her husband has given her resources and suggestions on ways to improve, yet she just wants to be fat, is also uncomfortable. ~A
