@rbranson -Manage the schema in the app layer and not in the db. It makes the app development more agile. -No matter what the scenario, RDBs don't scale and thus are not a optimal solution. -You don't need to learn SQL. ORMs would do the job for you.

Even architects or principal engineer candidates get rejected because they're not senior enough, so keep your chin up. Learn from the rejection, and keep building and keep improving. Those hours of going through a failed interview process and improving your craft aren't wasted.

As a senior engineer interviewing, they still say "you're too mid-level". Junior dev, don't let it weigh you down if they say "you're too junior". Hearing that is a sign that you're putting yourself out there and growing if you progress from no interview up to the final round.
